Urban Female Ocean Healer - Holozing Fan Art [ENG-ESP]

Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you're all doing well. I've been a bit isolated, working on other projects that took me away from drawing for a few days. However, today I was able to find some quality time, enough to think about what I could draw, so I decided to make our ocean healer dressed as an urban city girl. It's a simple design, but I really liked the result, and I want to share it with you briefly.

Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero todos se encuentren muy bien, he estado un poco apartado, trabajando en otros proyectos que me llevaron por pocos días a alejarme del dibujo. Sin embargo, hoy pude tener tiempo de calidad, suficiente para poder pensar en qué podría dibujar, así que se me ocurrió hacer a nuestra sanadora del océano vestida como una chica urbana de la ciudad. Es un diseño sencillo pero me gustó mucho el resultado, y brevemente quiero compartirlo con ustedes.

PROCESS

I used white cardstock to make my drawing, but not before making a sketch to guide the design of the fan art. So I started with the face and added the rest of the details from there. I changed the ocean healer's cape to a hip-hop-style sweater and also added a cap.

Utilicé una cartulina de color blanco para hacer mi dibujo, no sin antes realizar un boceto para guiar el diseño del fan art. Así que comencé por el rostro y de ahí fui agregando el resto de detalles. Cambié la capa que utiliza la sanadora del océano por un suéter estilo hip-hop y también agregué una gorra.

After completing the sketch, I began painting the hair first. I used a light blue, but since our girl is now into urban fashion, I added some fuchsia tones for a more even look. To give the color volume, I used a blue alcohol marker. This helped blend and blend the tones I used better.

Después de haber hecho el boceto, comencé a pintar en primer el lugar el cabello, utilicé un color azul claro pero como nuestra chica ahora está en la moda urbana agregué unos tonos fucsias para un mejor estilo. Y para darle volumen al color utilicé marcador de alcohol color azul, eso ayudó a mezclar y difuminar mejor los tonos que había utilizado.

Next, I began painting the skin on the face. I used a light peach pastel color for this. It's a very soft color, and I only add a darker shade to it when there are shadows. I also began drawing and painting the eyes in an ocean-like blue, adorned with a bit of light turquoise.

Seguidamente comencé a pinatr la piel del rostro, utilicé para eso un color claro pastel de tono durazno, es un color muy suave al cual solo le pongo otro tono más oscuro cuando se trata de lugares donde hay sombras. También comienzo a dibujar y pintar los ojos de un color azul semejante al océano, adornado con un poco de color turquesa claro.

I also started painting his clothes, which, as I said before, I gave a very urban style, especially a cap, which I painted green, and a baggy sweater like the ones rappers wore in the 90s. Then I began outlining the entire drawing with a fine-tipped black marker, and that's how it was finished.

También comencé a pintar su ropa a la cual como dije antes le di un estilo bien urbano, especialmente una gorra a la cual pinté de verde y un suéter ancho como los que usaban los raperos en los 90. Después comencé a delinear todo el dibujo con un marcador negro punta fina y así quedó finalizado.
