HOLO!! Dear community, today I am very excited because I have made my second amigurumi of a Holozing character, it is the tender Zingu, a penguin of the ice element that has many abilities, part of its ice wings and also that powerful crystal of the front that can cool many things, since I saw it I loved this creature, so it was a personal goal to crochet it, then I share the process with you and at the end I share my rewards obtained thanks to my delegation to @zingtoken, I invite you to delegate and be part of Holozing 🥰

HOLO!! Querida comunidad hoy estoy muy entusiasmada porque que he hecho mi segundo mi segundo amigurumi de un personaje de Holozing, se trata del tierno Zingu, un pingüino del elemento hielo que tiene muchas habilidades, parte de sus alas de hielo y también ese poderoso cristal de la frente que puede enfriar muchas cosas, desde que lo vi me encantó esta criatura, así que era una meta personal hacerlo a crochet, comparto entonces el proceso con ustedes y al final comparto mis recompensas obtenidas gracias a mi delegación a @zingtoken, los invito a delegar y ser parte de Holozing 🥰

Materials / Materiales

For this amigurumi I used 1.25mm crochet hook, scissors, anti-allergic acrylic fiber filling, 1mm thick acrylic yarn in the following colors: black, white, dark blue, light blue, dark yellow and light yellow.

Para este amigurumi utilicé ganchillo de 1.25mm, tijera, relleno de fibra acrílica antialérgica, hilo a acrílico de 1mm de grosor en los siguientes colores: negro, blanco, azul oscuro, azul claro, amarillo oscuro y amarillo claro.

Process / Proceso

I started making the body with blue, I made 6 single crochets in a ring, then 6 increases for six rows until I had 42 stitches, I added the white color for the central stitches that were increasing for two rows, then I added the black color making a triangle of blue from the white belly. Then I decreased until I had 24 stitches, then filled with fiber.

Comencé haciendo el cuerpo con azul, hice 6 puntos bajos en anillo, luego 6 aumentos por seis hileras hasta obtener 42 puntadas, agregué el color blanco para las puntadas centrales que iban en aumento por dos hileras, luego agregué el color negro haciendo un triángulo de azul desde la panza blanca. Luego hice disminuciones hasta obtener 24 puntadas, luego rellené con fibra.

For the legs with blue thread I made the three fingers separately starting with 3 single crochets in a ring, I made 1 increase for two rows until I had 5 stitches, I knitted a row of single crochets to join the fingers, then I interspersed normal rows with rows of decreases until the leg is closed, then I made the ankle by picking up 8 stitches and making 4 increases until I had 12. I made the two legs the same, stuffed and sewed to the body.

Para las patas con hilo azul hice por separado los tres dedos comenzando con 3 puntos bajos en una anillo, hice 1 aumento por dos hileras hasta obtener 5 puntadas, hile una hilera de puntos bajos para unir los dedos, luego intercalé hileras normales con hileras de disminuciones hasta cerrar la pata, luego hice el tobillo levantando 8 puntadas y haciendo 4 aumentos hasta obtener 12. Hice las dos patas iguales, rellené y cosí al cuerpo.

For the wings I started with light blue thread, making two pointed parts separately, one larger than the other, when joining them I continued adding the black color only in the central stitches, increasing the number of stitches with black until I finished with only that color, continue the wing and close. I made two identical wings and sewed them to the body.

Para las alas comencé con hilo azul claro, haciendo por separado dos partes puntiagudas, una más grande que la otra, al unirlas continué agregando el color negro solo en las puntadas centrales, aumentando la cantidad de puntadas con negro hasta terminar solo con ese color, continuar el ala y cerrar. Hice dos alas iguales y cosí al cuerpo.

For the head I started with black thread making 6 single crochets in a ring, I made 6 increases for seven rows until I had 48 stitches, I made 4 rows without increases, then I added the white color to make the face area, at the height of the cheeks I made increases to create the pointed angles, then I made decreases until I finished with 24 am stitches the same as the body. Since I used safety eyes, I placed them as I progressed in the stitches on the face.

Para la cabeza comencé con hilo negro haciendo 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, hice 6 aumentos por siete hileras hasta obtener tener 48 puntadas, hice 4 hileras sin aumentos, luego agregué el color blanco para hacer el área del rostro, a la altura de las mejillas hice aumentos para crear los ángulos puntiagudos, luego hice disminuciones hasta terminar con 24 puntadas am igual que el cuerpo. Como usé ojos de seguridad los coloqué a medidas que iba avanzando en las puntadas del rostro.

For the details of the face I embroidered with dark yellow thread, with light yellow thread I made the beak and sewed it to the face, while with black I made the pointed feathers on the head. To finish I sewed the head to the body.

Para los detalles del rostro bordé con hilo amarillo oscuro, con hilo amarillo claro hice el pico y lo cosí al rostro, mientras que con negro hice las plumas puntiagudas de la cabeza. Para finalizar cosí la cabeza al cuerpo.

Result/ Resultado

Although it seems like a simple figure, it took me longer than other amigurumis, this is because working with several colors of thread at the same time makes the work difficult, but I prefer to do it that way because I don’t have to sew other colored parts on top of another to achieve the goal. I hope you like this sweet Zingu.

Aunque parezca una figura sencilla me tomó más tiempo que otros amigurumis, esto debido a que trabajar con varios colores de hilo a la vez dificulta el trabajo, pero yo prefiero hacerlo de ese modo porque no tengo que coser otras partes de color encima de otra para lograr el cometido. Espero a ustedes les guste este dulce Zingu.
