Unaquita
In this opportunity, I want to present to the Holozing Community, a beautiful necklace inspired by the Forest Healer; As I saw the image provided, my mind made a selection of natural materials, of a beautiful green colour, as is the Unaquita, a stone of green and pink colour, whose main energetic value is to provide the emotional balance of our body, through the purification and cleansing of feelings and especially of our thoughts.
It's time to present a new tutorial that I hope will inspire you to enter the world of jewellery design and creation.
Unaquita
En ésta oportunidad, quiero presentar a la Comunidad de Holozing, un hermoso collar inspirado en la Sanadora del Bosque; en lo que vi la imagen provista, mi mente realizó una selección de materiales naturales, de un hermoso color verde, como es la Unaquita, una piedra de color verde y rosa, cuyo valor energético principal es proveer el equilibrio emocional de nuestro cuerpo, mediante la purificación y limpieza de los sentimientos y sobre todo de nuestros pensamientos.
Es momento de presentarles un nuevo tutorial que espero les inspire a incursionar en el mundo del diseño y creación de joyas de bisutería.
Materials and first steps:
- Jewellery tweezers (cut, flat, round tip).
- 22 gauge (0.64mm) and 26 gauge (0.41mm) jewellery thread
- 42cm leather necklace
- Green Swarovsky crystals
- 4mm Unacquitas
- Base for pendant
- 4-leaf clover shaped charm
The first thing we will do is to design our healing pendant; place the stones and crystals in the shape you like the most, this way you can see if you can change any element while you are making it.
Materiales y primeros pasos:
- Pinzas de bisutería (corte, plana, punta redonda)
- Hilos de bisutería calibre 22 (0.64mm) y 26 (0.41mm)
- Collar de cuero de 42cm
- Cristales de Swarovsky verde
- Unaquitas de 4mm
- Base para dije
- Dije en forma de trébol de 4 hojas
Lo primero que realizaremos, es el diseño de nuestro dije sanador; coloca las piedras y los cristales en la forma que más te guste, de ésta manera puedes ver si puedes cambiar algún elemento mientras lo realizas.
Cut 26 gauge costume jewellery thread and adjust it on the pendant, being very careful that the end is inside one of the unquita pearls so that it does not hurt the skin; introduce each piece one by one and adjust it delicately on the pendant, as they are of the same colour, you will not notice the fastening that we are doing.
Corta hilo de bisutería calibre 26 y ajusta en el dije, con sumo cuidado de que el extremo quede dentro de una de las perlas de unaquita para que no lastime la piel; introduce de una en una cada pieza y ajústala en el dije con delicadeza, al ser del mismo color, no se notará el amarre que vamos realizando.
Fit both pieces very well and make precise cuts to avoid scratching the skin. Add the base of the charm and insert it into the leather necklace.
Continúa colocando y ajustando cada uno de los elementos decorativos que se muestran en las fotografías; al principio quería colocarle una piedra de ojo de gato marrón, pero la pieza en sí deseaba que fuese reversible, así que utilicé dos piezas de nácar: un corazón y un círculo, representando la infinidad y compromiso del amor.
Ajusta muy bien ambas piezas y haz cortes precisos para evitar rasguños en la piel. Agrega la base del dije e introduce en el collar de cuero.
Es momento de adornar el collar: introduce el hilo calibre 26 en la argolla del dije, marca el centro e inicia con un entorchado de hilo, alternando cristales de swarovsky en el collar de cuero, tal como te muestro en las fotos. Puedes hacer del tamaño, color o elementos que más te gusten, lo importante en el cariño que tengas y lo que la pieza te vaya indicando.
