This time I share with you another of my designs inspired by the light curator, this time, with a totally different style, with a new accessory and costume in the pixel art style.
As a lover of everything related to Pixel art, I came up with the idea of trying to base these characters to a little more retro style, and as the images of this style have to be very small, I wanted to challenge myself to make it big, but that each pixel is well appreciated, the end result was very surprising for me in this drawing and I am totally satisfied with the results.
The size of the canvas I used for this drawing is 1700 pixels by 1700 pixels.

En esta ocasión les comparto otro de mis diseños inspirados en la curadora de luz, esta vez, con un estilo totalmente diferente, con un nuevo accesorio y traje al estilo pixel art.
Como amante de todo lo relacionado con el arte del Pixel, se me ocurrió la idea de tratar de basar a estos personajes a un estilo un poco más retro, y como las imágenes de este estilo tienen que ser muy pequeños, quise ponerme el reto de hacerlo grande, pero que cada pixel se aprecie bien, el resultado final fue muy sorprendente para mí en este dibujo y estoy totalmente satisfecho con los resultados.
El tamaño del lienzo que utilice para este dibujo es de 1700 píxeles por 1700 pixeles.

To get inspiration for this drawing, I had to look a lot at my reference image, I also wanted to make a pose that is a little different from the original image, so I chose to look for a reference image on the internet for the 3/4 position.
At the end of the post I will share with you the images I used for reference, the first one will be the main image of the Holozing light curator and the second one of the position I wanted for that moment.
Then I made 2 sketches, one to have the position done and to know in which space I was going to do each piece of the drawing, and the other one to improve it, it took me 3 hours to do this part of the drawing, when I had already made some modifications, I had in mind to add something different to the headband that the main character has, so I wanted to make it a little more retro.
Below you will see the results of the line-art, where I had already improved all my drawing and then I started to color it.

Para inspirarme en este dibujo, tuve que observar mucho mi imagen de referencia, también quería hacer una pose que sea un poco diferente a la de la imagen original, así que opte por buscar una imagen de referencia por internet para la posición 3/4.
Al final de la publicación les compartiré las imágenes que use en referencia, la primera de ellas será la imagen principal de la curadora de luz de Holozing y la segunda de la posición que quería para ese momento.
Después hice 2 bocetos, uno para poder tener la posición realizada y saber en qué espacio iba a hacer cada pieza del dibujo, y la otra para mejorarla, me tomo 3 horas hacer esta parte del dibujo, cuando ya había hecho algunas modificaciones, tenía en mente en agregar algo diferente la diadema que posee el personaje principal, así que lo quise hacer un poco más retro.
Abajo verán los resultados del Line-art, donde ya había mejora todo mi dibujo para después comenzar a darle color.

Once finished with the base of the drawing, the next thing I did was to add the base color, as our character's hair is a bit white, I wanted to simulate exactly the same color, as I wanted to take this character to retro.
After finishing with the base color layer, I started to work on the hair, it took me 1 hour to do it, working with every detail at the pixel level is a little complicated, but very fun, the good thing about pixel art, is that you don't need to blur, although to be able to degrade some colors, it is necessary to use a little lighter tones.
I have some time practicing and remembering my drawing techniques in this style of art, now that I started to take it up again I decided to make it my drawing style once more, since I love the style. By the end I had finished working on all the hair, it was a long job but very satisfying.

Una vez terminado con la base del dibujo, lo siguiente que hice fue agregar el color base, como nuestro personaje tiene el cabello de un tono un poco blanco, quise simular exactamente el mismo color, ya que quería llevar a este personaje a lo retro.
Después de terminar con la capa base de color, comencé a trabajar en el cabello, el mismo me tomo 1 hora en hacerlo, trabajar con cada detalle a nivel del pixel es un poco complicado, aunque sumamente divertido, lo bueno del arte del pixel, es que no necesitas difuminar, aunque para poder degradar algunos colores, es necesario de usar unos tonos un poco más claros.
Tengo cierto tiempo practicando y recordando mis técnicas de dibujo en este estilo de arte, ahora que comencé a retomarlo decidí en convertirlo mi estilo de dibujo una vez más, ya que adoro el estilo. Al final había terminado de trabajar con todo el cabello, fue un trabajo largo pero muy satisfactorio.

When I finished with the hair I started to value the headband, it has the shape of a sun to simulate his faction, which reminds me a little bit to some costumes of the Final Fantasy sagas.
After working completely on this part, I proceeded to work on the eyes, which was the easiest thing for me, because thanks to the colors of the headband, I could use those same tones to make the eyes and make it look as tender as possible.
In fact, the drawing style reminds me of the Fire Emblem characters, I also worked on the shading and the depths of the skin.

Al terminar con el cabello comencé a valorar la diadema, el mismo tiene la forma de un sol para simular su facción, lo que me recuerdo un poco a unos trajes de las sagas de Final Fantasy.
Después de trabajar completamente en esta parte, procedí a trabajar en los ojos, lo cual lo más fácil para mí, ya que gracias a los colores de la diadema, pude usar esos mismos tonos para poder hacer los ojos y hacer que se vea lo más tierno posible.
De hecho, el estilo de dibujo me recuerdo a los personajes de Fire Emblem, trabaje también con el sombreado y las profundidades de la piel.
After I had finished working almost completely with this character, although I still have a lot to learn, I wanted to add a landscape in this style, but at that time my inspiration was not enough to create a landscape, so I decided to leave the background in black to highlight it at the end.
I gave some extra details and some parts that I had missed to value and deepen.

Después había terminado de trabajar casi por completo con este personaje, aunque todavía tengo mucho por aprender, quería agregarle un paisaje de este estilo, pero en ese momento mi inspiración no llegaba a más como para crear un paisaje, así que decidí dejar con el fondo de negro para que resaltara al final.
Le di unos detalles extras y algunas partes que me había faltado por valorizar y profundizar.
Finally, my drawing was done after dedicating about 4 or 5 hours in total, it was a work that took me a lot of my time, in fact I was lucky to have this little time to resume my drawings, even so I am totally satisfied with the final result.
It was not necessary to blur it as I explained before, since the style of the drawing is retro, I hope you like it, at the bottom of this text you will find the images I used in reference.

Finalmente, mi dibujo estaba hecho luego de dedicarle como 4 o 5 en total, fue un trabajo que me tomo mucho mi tiempo, de hecho tuve suerte de tener este pequeño tiempo para retomar mis dibujos, aun así estoy totalmente satisfecho con el resultado final.
No fue necesario difuminarlo como explique anteriormente, ya que el estilo del dibujo es retro, espero que les sea de su agrado, en la parte inferior de este texto encontraran las imágenes que use en referencia.

El diseño está bastante bueno, para ser sincero, me recuerda un poco a un caballero del zodiaco.
Te ha quedado aceptable, ya que en una pieza de un tamaño tan grande, el trabajo es demasiado, lleva demasiado tiempo ponerse a cada detalle, por supuesto tienes muchos detalles que arreglar en jaggies y doubles que tienes en el arte. Este tipo de trabajos cuando los hago en fondos oscuros busco en lo posible de suavizar el borde del dibujo, aunque entiendo que estabas muy cansado (yo también lo hubiera dejado así, soy muy perezoso cuando se trata de lienzos tan grandes), sin embargo lo apropiado es usar un blanco tirando hacia el lado de los colores fríos y con un tono bastante oscuro para hacer la transicion al negro y así quedara como debe el suavizado.
En general este es un buen trabajo, sigue practicando, hay mucho potencial que puedes explotar.
