Reference

We will use these two dragons, the ice dragon and the earth dragon, as a reference (sorry, I don't know their official names, haha). I was also inspired by the battles in Dragon Ball. There isn't an image as such, as it is a resource used in many anime series, with rivals at opposite ends of the spectrum and in stark contrast, so I will give an example so you can understand what I mean.

Usaremos como referencia estos dos dragones el de hielo y tierra "perdón, no se sus nombres oficiales jeje". también me inspiré en las luchas de dragon ball, no hay una imagen como tal, pues es un recurso que usan en muchos animes, de los rivales en extremos opuestos y contraste, así que dejaré un ejemplo para que entiendan de lo que hablo.

Process/Proceso

We make the basic shape. Originally, I wanted the characters to have a certain aura of different colors that would clash with each other, as seen in the reference, but I discarded this idea to make something more subtle, with the intention of not overloading the physical card.
Speaking of the physical cards, I had to make a change here. The canvas was the wrong size for the frame. It would fit, but when I adjusted it, I lost part of the artwork. So I changed the size of the canvas and finished the sketch with this new measurement.
As a final step, we created the line art in black and used the Yuna brush, which is the one I've been using lately.

Hacemos la forma básica, originalmente quería que los personajes tuvieran cierta aura de diferente color y esta chocara entre si así como se ve en la referencia, pero esto lo descarte para hacer algo mas sutil, esto con la intención de no saturar mucho la carta física.
hablando de las cartas físicas aqui tuve que hacer un cambio tenia el lienzo en una medida incorrecta para el marco, si queda pero al ajustar pierdo parte de la obra. Por lo que cambie el tamaño del lienzo y termine de hacer el boceto con esta nueva medida.
Como paso final creamos el lineart en color negro y el pincel Yuna que es el que ultimamente estoy usando.

Aplicamos el color base desde el fondo pues este sera nuestro mayor contraste, no estoy seguro de cuales son los poderes de estas creaturas, por lo que hice hacer algo sutil y que ese contraste lo hiciera el cielo y tierra, tambien pensando en algo de hielo para el dragón de ese elemento.

After blurring and retouching to create something resembling a snowstorm, add some details to the ground to create contrast, as if the soil were being destroyed.
I think the real challenge was trying to achieve a balance of power between the two creatures.

Después de difuminar y retocar para hacer algo parecido a una tormenta de nieve, en la parte de la tierra agregue algunos detalles para hacer contraste como si el suelo se estuviera destruyendo.
creo que el reto real era tratar de conseguir un equilibrio de poder entre las dos creaturas.

We add details to the characters. This part isn't that complicated, but it is repetitive, haha: adding colors, blending, highlighting, and repeating on each layer. Oh, I should also point out that I made each character separately.
I skipped some details that I should have corrected later, and I also unconsciously discarded the idea of adding texture to the skin. Oh well, maybe next time.

Agregamos los detalles a los personajes, esta parte no es tan complicada pero si repetitiva, jaja agregar colores mezclar resaltar y repetir en cada capa. oh también debo destacar que hice cada personaje por separado.
me salte detalles que debí corregir mas adelante y también una idea que inconscientemente descarte fue hacerles textura a la piel. bueno sera para la próxima oportunidad.

We finished adding the final details and added a frame “just to see how it would look.” I am aware that I may be using them incorrectly, haha.

Terminamos de dar los detalles finales y agregamos un marco " solo para ver como se verían" estoy consciente de que tal vez los estoy usando de forma incorrecta jaja.

Esta era solo una propuesta mas para carta, ahhhhhhh ya no puedo esperar a que salgan! jaja.
