Process/Proceso

For this illustration I will try to use the rule of thirds, I want the landscape and the character to have harmony and be part of the whole.
Following this little guide we make the basic shape in blue color, at this stage it is not important to give it many details.
The next step is to make the sketch in a new layer using red color, in this stage we can correct some details.
Finally we make the lineart using black color in a new layer and a 50% hardness brush.

Para esta ilustración trataré de usar la regla de tercios, quiero que el paisaje y el personaje tengan armonía y sean parte del todo.
Siguiendo esta pequeña guía hacemos la forma básica en color azul, en esta etapa no es importante darle muchos detalles.
el siguiente paso es hacer el boceto en una nueva capa usando el color rojo, en esta etapa podemos corregir ciertos detalles.
Para finalizar hacemos el lineart usando color negro en una nueva capa y un pincel de dureza 50%

In the color stage we start with the background, since this will be the most time consuming.
As you can see in the first image we make a blue and white gradient for the sky.
In layers closer we add mountains, then a layer of trees and the meadow.
use several layers to get as much depth as possible.

En la etapa del color empezamos por el fondo, ya que este sera el que mas tiempo requiera.
Como se ve en la primera imagen hacemos un degradado en tono azul y blanco para el cielo.
en capas mas cercana agregamos montañas, luego una capa de árboles y la pradera.
use varias capas para conseguir la mayor profundidad posible.

Leave a cloud half done to show them the blurring process between various shades.
Before continuing with the details I decided to finish all the base color, as this would also take some time.

Deje una nube a medio hacer para mostrarles el proceso de difuminado entre varios tonos.
Antes de continuar dando detalles decidí terminar todo el color base, ya que esto también llevaría cierto tiempo.

Once all the base color is ready we can give details to the background.
I chose yellow tones to simulate plants and a slightly dry climate.
In other closer layers we draw more vegetation and apply the blur effect.

una vez listo todo el color base podemos dar detalles al fondo.
Elegí tonos amarillos para simular plantas y un clima un poco seco.
en otras capas mas cercanas dibujamos mas vegetación y aplicamos el efecto desenfoqué.

To finish the background I added several white flowers, this has a meaning for me but I want you to give it one too, what does it make you feel to see a field of white flowers.
In chirpily I applied several layers of shadows and gave the final details adding visible feathers or at least the texture of feathers.

Para terminar el fondo agregué varias flores blancas, esto tiene un significado para mi pero quiero que tu le des uno también, que te hace sentir el ver un campo de flores blancas.
En chirpily aplique varias capas de sombras y di los detalles finales agregando plumas visibles o al menos la textura de plumas.

Finally we corrected some colors, added more details to the characters and background.
We also added a couple of layers, especially in them we will add a little more vegetation and a little bit of blur.
And finally here is the result

Para finalizar corregimos algunos colores, agregamos mas detalles a los personajes y fondo.
también un par de capas, sobre todo en ellas agregaremos un poco mas de vegetación y un poquito desenfoque.
