We start the sketch with the basic shape in blue.
On this base and using the red color we make the final sketch, at this stage I corrected a little the proportions and tried to add almost all the details.
As a final step we make the lineart using a black color and transparency of 50%, in this step I added lines in the hair but I had planned to erase them later.

Iniciamos el boceto con la forma básica en color azul.
Sobre esta base y usando el color rojo hacemos el boceto final, en esta etapa corregí un poco las proporciones y traté de agregar casi todos los detalles.
Como paso final hacemos el lineart usando un color negro y transparencia del 50%, en este paso agregue líneas en el cabello pero tenía pensado borrarlas mas adelante.

Now we can add all the base color of our character, use a palette similar to the one in the reference.

Ahora podemos agregar todo el color base de nuestro personaje, use una paleta parecida al de la referencia.

I started by adding a background on a dark canvas, this would be one of the 2 light sources I wanted to give to the drawing.

Inicie agregando una los de fondo sobre un lienzo oscuro, esta seria una de las 2 fuentes de luz que quería darle al dibujo.

It's just a matter of seeing which parts interact with the light at the moment of applying the overlays and lights.
A small detail is that I used a red tone in the border of the light, with this I get a little warmer tone.
the skin was the stage that took the most time.

Ya solo es cuestión de ver cuáles partes interactúan con la luz al momento de aplicar las sobras y luces.
un pequeño detalle es que use un tono rojo en la frontera de la luz, con esto consigo un tono un poco mas cálido.
la piel fue la etapa que mas tiempo tomo.

After adding all the shadows and lights, we can work on the most important part of the drawing which are the eyes.
Really expressive eyes give life to the drawings.
I was inspired by the original design but keeping my style of eyes.

Después de agregar todas las sombras y luces, podemos trabajar en la parte mas importante del dibujo que son los ojos.
Realmente unos ojos bien expresivos le dan vida a los dibujos.
Me inspiré en el diseño original pero manteniendo mi estilo de ojos.

And finally we reinforced the backlight and corrected some colors and details.
And here is our finished drawing.

Y para finalizar reforzamos la luz de fondo corregimos algunos colores y detalles.
