Hello guys!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It looks like a major bull run or dip is gonna happen before the halving. Either way it's a win for every crypto enthusiasts and for hive as well. As for me the I have some good news as well because my university finally decided to conduct my one pending exam so I'll be a bit less active from now on but I'll probably reply to everyone haha. I'm really excited to see whats going to happen in the upcoming months so even if the market goes up or down my grind never stops so here is a new Waterhealer and Zingu fanart from me!

The Process

• Made a rough sketch first using this pose reference from Pinterest and transformed it into our characters.

• Made clean lineart from it using the penfade brush.

• Layed down the base colours.

• Light source is from the right side so shaded her skin accordingly.

• Rendered her eyes at this point.

• Painted more darker shades on her skin for 3D effect.

• Started painting her hair according to the source of light using penfade brush by adding highlights and shadows on appropriate places.

• Refined the hair at this point and added hair strands as well for a more realistic feel.

• Started working on her top by adding shades.

• Painted her gloves and belt buckle.

• Painted in the bluish shades on her white clothes.

• Started painting Zingu at this point according to the source of light.

• Painted the highlights on Zingu's body and his Icey wings. Zingu is sleeping so I added the nose bubble to make it look like that. That's a typical technique used by animators haha.

• The idea was to draw him lying down near the sea shores so I made a background which looks like that.

• Painted in the shadows according to the source of light and completed rendering the sea by painting the froathy edges.

• Decided to add some plants that grow in the sand near sea to complete the background. Also added some sparkles around our characters.

Result

Refined the painting and but more. Adjusted her eyes and highlights on the eyes and finally it was done :)
