Rule Set

The rule set here has a mana-cap of 12, ensures all melee and range attacks hit their targets, and forbids odd cards, and the Water, Earth, Life, and Death Splinters.

My Strategy

Since Water, Earth, and Death are not available, I did not have to worry about countering any magic monsters since Fire and Dragon do not have any starting magic monsters. I considered Fire Splinter due to the Pyre summoner's speed boost but since I thought this fight would be a melee-battle I wanted to punish all my enemy's melee attacks and went for Dragon Splinter. This way I could raise my own melee attack with Daria Dragonscale and have Djinn Chwala as my lone tank to punish the opponent with 3 melee and her Thorns ability. She also has very good stats -- 2 melee, 2 speed, 4 armor, and 9 health.

My Opponent's Line-up

My opponent went with a speed team from Fire but used Malric's melee boost instead of Pyre's speed boost. They used Cockatrice as 1st place tank, Cerebrus with Heal in 2nd, Kobold Miner with Sneak in 3rd, and Furious Chicken at 4th. Overall it was their 7 damage vs my 3, and their 10 health vs my 9.

At round 2, Cockatrice and Kobold Miner are down with only Cerberus and Chicken left. Chwala's lost some of her amor but her health's still untouched.

At round 3, it's just the genie vs the chicken which ends the fight in my favor since the chicken can't attack.

I win 20 Rating and 6 Dark Energy Crystals from this battle.
