Hello friends of @holos-lotus, I wish you a happy and blessed weekend together with your loved ones, the days go by very fast and April is no exception, although it seems incredible 21 days have passed, in my city the temperature has dropped a little, we have had cloudy skies and short rains that have cooled the area, in this context I make my entry for the initiative of the friend @tibaire What do you remember about dad?I have many memories of my father; trips, meals, his jocularity and the "magic words" he had for every situation, just in these days that it is getting very hot I remembered several experiences, in the town where I grew up specifically during the months of March and April is very hot, which affected my father a lot, I think he suffered from extreme heat.

Hola amigos de @holos-lotus, les deseo un feliz y bendecido fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, los días avanzan muy rápido y el mes de abril no es la excepción, aunque parezca increíble ya han pasado 21 días, en mi ciudad la temperatura ha bajado un poco, hemos tenido cielos nublados y cortas lluvias que han refrescado la zona, en este contexto hago mi entrada para la iniciativa de la amiga @tibaire Qué recuerdas de papá?, de mi padre tengo muchos recuerdos; viajes, comidas, su jocosidad y las "palabras mágicas" que tenía para cada situación, justo en estos días que está haciendo mucho calor recordé varias vivencias, en el pueblo donde me críe específicamente durante los meses de marzo y abril hace mucho calor, lo cual afectaba mucho a mi padre, creo que sufría de calor extremo.
In normal warm weather conditions, the temperature and incidence of the sun's rays are tolerable, but not for my father, he sweated a lot and was very thirsty because of the heat during the day and night, a very funny anecdote I remember, was when the light went out at night for several hours and my dad was very hot and asked us to fan him with a cardboard, One of my sisters had the idea of making a fan with paper, which helped a lot, but after a few minutes the pain in the arms appeared again, my dad to motivate us made us a great offer impossible to refuse; to give a prize to the one who stayed the longest with the fan or cardboard, all of us very excited joined this challenge, you can't waste an opportunity to eat sweets and this was the perfect occasion.
En condiciones normales del clima cálido, la temperatura e incidencia de los rayos solares son tolerables, pero no para mi padre, sudaba mucho y le daba mucha sed por el calor que hacía en el día y la noche, una anécdota muy graciosa que recuerdo, fue cuando se fue la luz en la noche por varias horas y mi papá muy acalorado nos pidió que lo abanicaramos con un cartón, con mis hermanas hacíamos turnos para ayudarlo a sofocar el calor pero nos cansabamos muy rápido, el dolor en los brazos se hacía presente y era difícil continuar, una de mis hermanas tuvo la idea de hacer un abanico con papel, lo cual ayudó mucho, pero al cabo de pocos minutos nuevamente aparecía el dolor en los brazos, mi papá para motivarnos nos hizo una gran oferta imposible de rechazar; darle un premio a la permaneciera más tiempo con el abanico o cartón, todas muy emocionadas nos sumamos a este desafío, no se puede desperdiciar una oportunidad de comer dulces y esta era la ocasión perfecta.

Hicimos nuestro mejor esfuerzo pero igual nos cansamos, mi padre como premio de consolación nos dio dulces a todas por el trabajo que hicimos para ayudarlo a disipar el calor, para estas ocasiones hicimos abanicos con diferentes tipos de papel con la idea de encontrar uno liviano que nos permitiera rendir sin cansarnos al abanicar a mi papá, el que mejor nos resultó fue de la famosas "carpetas amarillas" tenía el tamaño y peso adecuado que nos permitía abanicar por más tiempo, debido a su padecimiento por el calor mi padre usaba varios ventiladores en su habitación para refrescarla y combatir el fuerte calor, dado que el techo de la casa era de zinc más aumentaba el calor en horas de la tarde.

La llegada de los aires acondicionados fue una gran bendición para mi padre, con esfuerzo compró su primer equipo y lo más rápido que pudo lo instaló en la habitación sin dejar por fuera sus fieles ventiladores, en varias ocasiones le preguntamos por qué seguía usando los ventiladores si ya tenía un aire acondicionado, con la calma y paciencia que lo caracterizaba nos explicó que el ventilador mueve el aire que está en determinado espacio y si este es frío, mucho mejor porque la habitación se mantendrá fría por más tiempo, una lógica muy interesante y funcional; la habitación era literalmente una nevera, las paredes y sábanas frescas, ya con el aire acondicionado instalado todos en casa queríamos pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en esta fresca habitación mi papá le puso el nombre del Refugio, al terminar de comer todos nos dirigíamos al Refugio; ya que las horas de la tarde eran las más calurosas, justo en esta época de calor recuerdo con mucho amor y nostalgia las ideas y ocurrencias de mi padre para combatir el calor y los hermosos momentos que compartíamos en el refugio.

Definitivamente tú padre era alguien genial, que siempre las hacía reír con sus ocurrencias y retos para ver quien lo abanicaba más, creo que fueron unas hijas felices a su lado y sin duda tuvieron mucha competencia entre hermanas jejeje. Saludos @indumukhi, sí, fue una persona muy chistosa y siempre tenía una anécdota o historia para cada situación, abanicarlo era todo un reto los brazos quedaban entumecidos jaja, pero a la vez era divertido y nos reíamos mucho, de hecho teníamos varios abanicos para estas ocasiones cuando se iba la luz; agradecida por tu visita.

Yo crecí en un clima caluroso y de verdad que el calor es agobiante. Los aires son una bendición en ese sentido. Uno duerme sabroso bien abrigado con una cobija y ese frío 😄

Que lindo, ese refugio, estoy segura tiene muchas historias, convivencias, risas y amor. El lugar perfecto para que una familia se integre y se refuerce el sentido de pertenencia
Era la habitación más famosa de la casa jaja, había un puesto en particular que era el más buscado justo frente al aire acondicionado, perfecto para no sentir nada de calor, era divertido pasar horas allí escuchando las anécdotas y chistes de mi padre, conservo muchos recuerdos de él en su apreciado Refugio.
