El hecho está en que conseguí una tarea sencilla que consistía en hacer un test de personalidad.

Mi adolescencia fue en el 2000; en esa época comprabas una revista y la sección favorita era "que tipo de programa de tv te gusta", "qué animal fuiste en otra vida", y si trataba de parejas ¡Ni hablar! porque contaba desde las citas perfectas hasta que tan infiel eres je,je... Así crecimos.
Entonces, hacer un test es trasladarme a ese período y que alguien me diga quién soy yo a través de unas preguntas 🙃. Quedó grabado en mi incosciente y siempre ha sido una exeriencia agradable responder este tipo de cuestionarios.
What did I like? I think I grew up in the time when you bought a magazine and the favorite section was “what kind of TV show do you like”, “what animal were you in another life”, and if it was about couples, no way! because it counted from the perfect dates to how unfaithful you are heh,heh.... That's how we grew up. So, taking a test is to move me to that period and have someone tell me who I am through some questions 🙃.
Hablando en serio, como investigadora social siempre estoy interesada en comprender la conducta humana tanto de forma individual como de forma social, para poder entender y poner al servicio mis conocimientos en el caso del mejoramiento de la sociedad donde vivimos.
Pienso que con una simple pregunta no se puede saber exactamente cómo piensa o actúa una persona, pero si se dan indicios de como se comporta o percibe una persona ante la sociedad, o al revés, una sociedad piensa de ciertas personas.
En este caso, me pareció interesante que el estudio fuera para latinoamérica, lo que fue acertado porque es de algo que conozco ya que aquí vivo y puedo entender de las preguntas que realizaban.
Seriously speaking, as a social researcher I am always interested in understanding human behavior both individually and socially, in order to understand and put my knowledge at the service of improving the society in which we live. I think that with a simple question you can not know exactly how a person thinks or acts, but if you give indications of how a person behaves or perceives a person to society, or conversely, a society thinks of certain people. In this case, it seemed interesting to me that the study was for Latin America, which was right because it is something I know since I live here and I can understand the questions that were asked.
Al iniciar la encuesta, ni pude tomar fotografías porque pensé que era algo superficial de decir si o no y ganarme mi dinero. Sin embargo, al ir avanzando en las preguntas me dí cuenta que en realidad apreciaban las respuestas y eran necesarias para poder avanzar en la encuesta. Tenían preguntas pilotos como: marca el que dice color rojo, o que tan parecido es este cuadro al color rojo, entonces por obligación tenía que estar pendiente para no errar y al final me pudieran pagar el dinero.
When I started the survey, I couldn't even take pictures because I thought it was a superficial yes or no thing to say and earn my money. However, as I progressed through the questions I realized that they actually appreciated the answers and they were necessary in order to advance in the survey. They had pilot questions like: mark the one that says red, or how similar is this picture to the color red, so I had to be aware of the obligation to make sure I didn't make a mistake and in the end they could pay me the money.
El estudio me pareció bien elaborado, sencillo, entendible y con preguntas que me causaron un poco de atención porque existían preguntas referentes, por ejemplo, al esquibo cuando nosotros como venezolanos somos los que estamos conociendo ese tema; es decir, preguntas muy especifícas adaptadas a la realidad venezolana. Pienso dos cosas: o el estudio estaba destinado a personas de mi país o la inteligencia artifical se condicionaba para colocar las preguntas correspondientes a lo que contestaba directamente, asi si eras de Cuba, Argentina o El Salvador, se daban las preguntas para esa realidad en específico.
The study seemed to me well elaborated, simple, understandable and with questions that caused me a little attention because there were questions referring, for example, to the esquibo when we as Venezuelans are the ones who are getting to know that subject; that is to say, very specific questions adapted to the Venezuelan reality. I think two things: either the study was intended for people from my country or the artificial intelligence was conditioned to place the questions corresponding to what I answered directly, so if you were from Cuba, Argentina or El Salvador, the questions were given for that specific reality.
Bueno, como todo estudio de internet tiene el sesgo o la probabilidad de que lo realicen personas solo por el dinero y no sigan un patrón de respuestas acordes a lo que se quiera investigar o los resultados que se quieran obtener.
Al ser una página de ganar dinero, pienso que las personas que la usan o hacen esas encuestas, estan para eso, para ganar dinero y no por el aporte que le podamos realizar a la comunidad de investigadores sociales por lo que pienso que los resultados que obtengan estarán muy alejados de la realidad.
Otra cosa es que a pesar de que dan los números y correo es simplemente para dudas o derecho de autor, que me parece innecesario porque al final, eso es anónimo, pero para saber dónde va publicado o en qué contribuyó nuestro esfuerzo o lo resultados obtenidos, no hay mucha información.
Por último, comenzar a habalr de ti y terminar preguntando por el esequibo, me pareció que se desviaron del tema y percibí algo de engaño, por eso pienso que no podré saber el fin de dicha encuesta y a dónde va dirigida.
And the negative? Well, like any internet study, there is a bias or the probability that people do it just for the money and do not follow a pattern of answers according to what they want to investigate or the results they want to obtain. Being a page to earn money, I think that the people who use it or make these surveys, are there to earn money and not for the contribution that we can make to the community of social researchers so I think that the results obtained will be far from reality. Another thing is that although they give the numbers and mail is simply for doubts or copyright, which seems unnecessary to me because in the end, that is anonymous, but to know where it is published or what our effort contributed or the results obtained, there is not much information.
Bueno, aunque las preguntas fueron muy generales para cualquier público que lo hiciera, siento que refresque conocimientos, fijé posturas ante ciertas preguntas y pude aprender de términos así como de los intereses que se estan haciendo afuera por nuestros países. Aunque no sabré el fin, me agrado participar y espero que ustedes también puedan participar de estos conocimientos para crecimiento personal. Además, como lo dije al inicio, me divertí recordando mi época de juventud y saber que tipo de animal soy en esta selva de concreto🤣.
Y respondiendo si conocí mi personalidad, pues pienso que sí porque tengo mis posturas y valores fijados en cuanto a lo que sé y quiero para mi país próspero y libre 🇻🇪.
What did this study give me? Well, although the questions were very general for any audience, I feel that I refreshed my knowledge, I fixed positions to certain questions and I was able to learn about terms as well as the interests that are being done outside our countries. Although I will not know the end, I enjoyed participating and I hope you can also participate in this knowledge for personal growth. Also, as I said at the beginning, I had fun remembering my youth and knowing what kind of animal I am in this concrete jungle🤣. And answering if I knew my personality, well I think so because I have my positions and values set as to what I know and want for my prosperous and free country 🇻🇪.
