Saludos a todos y a la comunidad de @holos-lotus, hoy paso por acá para compartir mis experiencias con los niños en la pasada temporada navideña:
Una fue compartir con los niños en el Hospital del Llanito y la otra, la recolecta y donación anual de juguetes usados.
Una invitación inesperada que me trajo alegría.
A finales del mes de noviembre del año pasado, recibí un mensaje de MariT Colaboradora de la “Fundación Regalar Sonrisas” @regalsonrisas.ccs (IG) para invitarme a participar en su tradicional actividad que se llevaría a cabo el 07 de diciembre.
Me sorprendió mucho el contacto y quería saber por qué vía había llegado hasta mí; me comento luego, que fue por medio de recomendación de mi vecina Laura, que conociendo mi labor social en estas fechas y como biodancista, podía formar parte de la programación.
En su descripción de ¿Cómo regalan sonrisas? Me describe, que esta es una iniciativa de Gustavo Arellano un productor de eventos que junto a un grupo de amigos, un 15 de julio de 2016 fueron a hacer un día especial para los niños y sus familiares, pacientes pediátricos del Complejo Hemato Oncológico y de Radiocirugía del Hospital Domingo Luciani del Llanito, ubicado en el Municipio Sucre Caracas, Venezuela.
Esta iniciativa inicialmente solo se realizaba en Navidad, sin embargo también se incorporó hacerlo para el Día del Niño, lo que ha hecho que cada vez se vayan integrando más colaboradores y voluntarios a esta hermosa actividad.
Su objetivo principal es entregarles unas horas de disfrute, canto, música, diversión, dulces y regalos a los niños. Estos últimos años, se han sumado aliados que amorosamente hacen donaciones de pasapalos, dulces, juegos didácticos y hasta cotillones, otros con sus talentos participan en la programación de manera gratuita.
Conmovida por la oportunidad no podía negarme, sin embargo una actividad de Biodanza no es la más apropiada para el momento y explicándole las razones, le sugerí integrar en mi lugar a una amiga cuenta cuentos que siempre está en disposición de participar en estos eventos.
Así que, llame a mi amiga Andreina Ordaz @ordazandreina (IG) y ella sin pensarlo dos veces accedió maravillada por la oportunidad.
Llegamos al Hospital a las 9 am y nos presentaron al resto del equipo colaborador y a algunos aliados, en los que se encontraba mi vecina que también es parte de ese grupo maravililloso que cada año suma voluntades. Aprovechamos para ayudar a rellenar las bolsitas de regalos y alguna otra tarea que surgiera en el momento.
Los niños fueron llegando desde sus respectivas salas junto con sus familiares y algunas enfermeras. A las 10 am se dio inicio al programa donde Andreina era la primera y regaló, no solo a los niños sino a todos los asistentes un hermoso relato de la Ratoncita y el Gorila, donde la moraleja es “no todo es lo que parece”
Interactuó haciendo preguntas y juegos, una hora donde el mayor regalo fue ver las caras de atención y alegría en cada dinámica.
Nos retiramos a casa, yo agradecida con Andreina, Laura, MariaT y con la vida por esta oportunidad de haber sido el canal para contribuir con esta noble causa y por haberme unido para ser parte de esos Regaladores de Sonrisas, quede a disposición para el próximo encuentro.
La Tradicional Donación de Juguetes Usados, si fue posible.
Todos los años en casa mi hija y yo, recolectamos los juguetes que ella ya no usa y que están en buen estado y los llevamos a la iglesia Claret de Los Dos Caminos, porque ellos se encargan de entregarlos a los niños de bajos recursos residentes en la zona.
Este año lamentablemente no lo pude hacer, ya que me avisaron que tenía una semana para hacer la presentación de la Monografía de Biodanza y eso me puso a correr, limitándome en tiempo para buscar los juguetes.
El no poder hacerlo me entristeció y me decía para animarme “habrán más oportunidades, hay que atender las prioridades y necesitas terminar de presentar este trabajo”
Pero… cuando nuestro deseo es sincero y de corazón, las energías del universo confabulan para que se haga realidad. Esa semana una de las participantes de la clase de Biodanza de los martes me escribió preguntando a quien le podía donar una caja de juguetes, pues su hija se va a vivir a otro país y el niño va dejar algunos en su casa.
¡Que! ¿De verdad? No lo podía creer, así que le dije que me los trajera que yo misma era. Me puse tan feliz y cuando me los llevo, le di las gracias muchas veces. Le comente que aún no tenía previsto un destino específico pero que le informaría al respecto, ella me dijo que no había necesidad, que sabía que estaban en buenas manos.
Conversando con otra compañera participante de la clase y contándole lo que me había pasado, me dijo que ella viajaría a San Cristobal, ciudad Andina en Venezuela y se puso a la orden para llevarse algunos de los juguetes para los niños del campo.
Eso me pareció genial, me puse a clasificar los juguetes por edades y género, ya al día siguiente ella estaba en la puerta de la casa recibiendo la bolsa; luego nos pasó las fotos donde estaban los niños jugando, eso me encanto.
Gracias a mis amigas Diosceira y Rosita por ser parte de esta labor, labor en equipo y yo otra vez al servicio como intermediario.

Y eso no fue todo…
Días más tarde, me percate que en la plaza que está al lado del CC Millenium en Caracas, había una unidad de la Fundación Forjando El Futuro @fforjandoelfuturo (IG) donde su slogan es “Dona lo que no usas a quien lo necesita”
Esta es una fundación que atiende y brindan apoyo a niñas, niños y adolescentes entre las edades de 7 a 17 años en situación de riesgo social. Tienen la Aldea en Mariche, Muncipio Sucre del Estado Miranda y su Sede está ubicada en la urbanización Los Chorros (Caracas – Venezuela)
Me acerque y le pregunte al joven que estaba en la unidad si podía llevar juguetes y me dijo muy amablemente: “claro que sí y trabajo hasta hoy, me reintegro en enero” así que aproveche y me fui rápido a la casa a buscar las bolsas que quedaban.
Le entregue dos bolsas con peluches y algunos juguetes pequeños y amablemente accedió a regalarme una foto.
Hoy se Celebra el día de los Reyes Magos en Venezuela y que mejor momento para contarles mis experiencias regalando momentos de alegría a los niños e invitarlos a que nos cuenten que acciones sociales han realizado y que puedan motivar a otros a realizar las suyas. Para este año quiero hacer varias actividades de acción social donde Hive pueda tener participación activa, deseo contar con su apoyo.

An unexpected invitation that brought me joy.
At the end of November last year, I received a message from MariT, collaborator of the "Fundación Regalar Sonrisas" @regalsonrisas.ccs (IG) to invite me to participate in their traditional activity to be held on December 7th.
I was very surprised by the contact and wanted to know how she had reached me; she then told me that it was through the recommendation of my neighbor Laura, that knowing my social work on these dates and as a biodancer, I could be part of the program.
In his description of How do you give smiles? He describes to me, that this is an initiative of Gustavo Arellano an event producer who together with a group of friends, on July 15, 2016 went to make a special day for the children and their families, pediatric patients of the Hemato-Oncology and Radiosurgery Complex of the Domingo Luciani del Llanito Hospital, located in the Sucre Municipality Caracas, Venezuela.
This initiative was initially only carried out at Christmas, however it was also incorporated for Children's Day, which has led to more and more collaborators and volunteers joining this beautiful activity.
Its main objective is to provide a few hours of enjoyment, singing, music, fun, candy and gifts to children and in recent years, have joined allies who lovingly make donations of snacks, candy, educational games and even cotillions, others with their talents participate in the programming for free.
Moved by the opportunity I could not refuse, however a Biodanza activity is not the most appropriate for the moment and explaining the reasons, I suggested her to integrate in my place a storyteller friend who is always willing to participate in these events.
So it was, I called my friend Andreina Ordaz @ordazandreina (IG) and she agreed without thinking twice, amazed by the opportunity.
We arrived at the Hospital at 9 am and we were introduced to the rest of the collaborating team, some allies including my neighbor who is also part of that wonderful group that every year adds wills. We took advantage of the opportunity to help fill the gift bags and any other task that arose at the time.
The children arrived from their respective wards along with their families and some nurses. At 10 am the program began, where Andreina was the first one and she gave, not only to the children but to all the attendees, a beautiful story of the Mouse and the Gorilla, where the moral is "not everything is what it seems".
He interacted asking questions and playing games, an hour where the greatest gift was to see the faces of attention and joy in each dynamic.
We retired home, I was grateful to Andreina, Laura, MariaT and with life for this opportunity to have been the channel to contribute to this noble cause and for having joined and being part of these Givers of Smiles, I remain available for the next meeting.
The Traditional Donation of Used Toys, if possible.
Every year at home my daughter and I collect the toys that she no longer uses and that are in good condition and we take them to Claret Church in Los Dos Caminos, because they are in charge of donating them to low-income children living in the area.
This year unfortunately I could not do it, because they told me that I had a week to make the presentation of the Biodanza Monograph and that put me to run, limiting me in time to look for the toys.
Not being able to do it saddened me and I said to myself to encourage me "there will be more opportunities, you have to take care of priorities and you need to finish presenting this work".
But... when our desire is sincere and from the heart, the energies of the universe conspire to make it come true. That week one of the participants of the Tuesday Biodanza class wrote me asking to whom she could donate a box of toys, because her daughter is going to live in another country and the child is going to leave some at home.
What! Really? I couldn't believe it, so I told her to bring them to me that I myself was. I was so happy and when she brought them to me, I thanked her many times. I told her that I did not have a specific destination planned yet but that I would let her know about it, she told me that there was no need, that she knew I was in good hands.
Talking with another classmate and telling her what had happened to me, she told me that she would travel to San Cristobal, an Andean city in Venezuela, and she was willing to take some of the toys for the children in the countryside.
I thought that was great, I started to classify the toys by age and gender, and the next day she was at the door of the house receiving the bag; then she passed us the pictures where the children were playing, I loved that.

And that wasn't all...
Days later, I noticed that near the square next to the CC Millenium in Caracas, there was a unit of the Fundación Forjando El Futuro @fforjandoelfuturo (IG) where their slogan is "Donate what you don't use to those who need it".
This is a foundation that serves and provides support to girls, boys and adolescents between the ages of 7 to 17 years old in a social risk situation. They have the Village in Mariche, Sucre Municipality of Miranda State and its headquarters is located in the urbanization Los Chorros (Caracas - Venezuela).
I approached and asked the young man who was in the unit if I could bring toys and he told me very kindly: "of course I could and I work until today, I'll be back in January" so I took advantage of it and I went quickly to the house to get the remaining bags.
I gave him two bags with stuffed animals and some small toys and he kindly agreed to give me a picture.
Today is Three Kings Day in Venezuela and what better time to tell you about my experiences giving moments of joy to children and invite them to tell us what social actions they have done and that can motivate others to do theirs. For this year I want to make several social action activities where Hive can have active participation, I hope to have your support.

Extraordinaria labor. Estoy convencida que todo lo que se haga por la infancia es importante. El juego forma parte de las actividades que rigen la infancia; los juguetes son capaces de rescatar las sonrisas. Lo que hacen siembra en el niño la esperanza y la confianza que hay personas que se preocupan por los demás y eso es sumamente importante porque luego ellos replicarán estos ejemplos de bondad.
