Upcoming Monochrome Monday

It may seem weird that I'm already thinking this.. but Spring is around the corner!

The time is flying that's for sure! I can't believe it's already the middle of February at this point, and before we know it, it will be March and we will have Spring around the corner literally!

It's been a long and cold winter where we live. I have rather enjoyed it myself, because it's snowed a few times so it ends up being quite beautiful but at the same time, it's also moving along very quickly. When I blinked a moment ago, it was January and now it's the middle of February! Pretty wild how fast time goes these days that's for sure. For this weeks Monochrome Monday I decided to preemptively look at a few black and white photos from the spring time and the wonderful sights, smells and sounds it brings!

I think one of my favorite aspects of springtime for sure is the wonderful flower mixture that goes on! There are hundreds of kinds of flowers all around us, some of it being delicious fruit such as these here, while others are delicious pollen sinks for the wonderful pollinator friends of ours.

I think part of what makes spring so enjoyable for me is that thankfully I don't have allergies! My poor son has developed allergies over the last year or so, but we are hoping to get those resolved over the next few months and get him back to normal again. With me though, I've thankfully had a pretty strong and resilient body in that I don't have those difficult things, so that allows me to enjoy all kinds of things that get other people frustrated. Sorry, not sorry :D

Spring is for sure one of my favorite times of year for taking photos! Yes the other times of year are also wonderful for photos, but I am a really big fan of the explosion of life that comes along with spring. The fun part is seeing the various plants and when they decide to throw out some flowers.

There are early bloomers like the crabapple trees, which love to toss things out as soon as possible. They make for a really wonderful look and smell to them when you are in the area. Then there are others like magnolia trees, which we have a couple in the area, that are also on the earlier side. They make for some really wonderful smelling flowers! I would love to have one of the trees in my yard when I eventually get a house! The list goes on and on for the trees and flowers blooming.

Along with the flowers and springtime of course for me comes fishing! I get to go fishing with my son again which is a wonderful way for me to get to spend time with him as he gets older. I wonder what the changes are going to be this year, since he is sadly growing up quite a bit now.. and does things a little differently every year. Will he not need me to tie his hooks on this year? Time will tell!

Hello! Despite the sadness due to the desolation of the environment, it is excellent how you manage to capture the beautiful!
Congratulations!
Greetings!

Thanks, we have to go through cycles of death before we can get to growth!

Whether it's hot or cold, flowers are what we all love and the sight is always memorable.
