Piter conoció a Sara cuando tenía siete años de edad y Sara tenía once, en una reunión a las que asistían ambas familias dos veces a la semana, pero Sara nunca estuvo pendiente de los muchachos que estaban en su entorno. Luego con el tiempo cambiaron los lugares de reuniones y Piter no volvió a ver más a Sara, a pesar de su corta edad él solo tenía ojos solo para ella, aunque habían otras jóvenes muy lindas en la reunión.

Piter met Sara when he was seven years old and Sara was eleven years old, in a meeting that both families attended twice a week, but Sara was never aware of the boys that were around her. Treinta y nueve años después se volvieron a encontrar, Piter vivía al lado de un local que era de su propiedad el cual estaba alquilado por una muchacha que trabaja la acupuntura y Sara como últimamente no se estaba sintiendo bien le recomendaron ese sitio. Como quedaba cerca de su casa un día ella se fue caminando hasta allá y habló con la muchacha para ver en cuánto hacían las terapias y si la podía atender esa mañana y ella le dijo que si y le buscó una silla para que se sentará mientras ella atendía a otra paciente.

Al instante llamaron a Sara y ella entró, la vieron y le hicieron una terapia, pero la chica le dijo que tenía que hacerse varias cesiones, cuando salió Piter estaba parado en la puerta de su casa, le dijo que cómo le había ido con la terapia y Sara le contestó me encantó, pero tengo que venir varias veces y Piter le dijo ojalá volvamos a coincidir para saludarte, conversar un rato a lo que Sara le dio una sonrisa amigable y se despidió de él.

Así pararon los días, a veces Sara iba a la terapia y lo veía y en otras oportunidades no, total que la última terapia que se fue a realizar Sara, al salir del consultorio se topó con Piter, se saludaron y ella le comentó que esta había sido su última terapia y Piter que no quería perder el contacto con ella le dijo que si le permitía acompañarla hasta su casa, para así saber dónde vivía y ella estuvo de acuerdo. Cuando llegaron a la casa su hijo mayor estaba en el porche y se lo presentó a Piter y con el tiempo se enteró que se habían hecho muy buenos amigos y en una oportunidad le mandó a decir con su hijo que los iría a visitar.

Llegó el día de la visita la cual fue en la tarde, el hijo de Sara le abrió la puerta y ella se sorprendió de que se dieron la mano y un abrazo, mientras conversában se pudo percatar de que ellos se la llevaban muy bien, su hijo salió un momento a comprar algo en la panadería y Sara se quedó sentada en el porche conversando con Piter.

The day of the visit arrived which was in the afternoon, Sara's son opened the door and she was surprised that they shook hands and hugged, while they were talking she could see that they were getting along very well, her son went out for a moment to buy something at the bakery and Sara sat on the porch talking with Piter.

Él aprovecho la oportunidad para confesarle que desde los siete años que la conoció había quedado cautivado con ella; y ahora que la había encontrado sus sentimientos por ella estaban intactos, pero que él solo quería que lo supiera porque él estaba muy enfermo y no tenía nada que ofrecerle, ella por su parte le confesó que también estaba muy enferma y que cada día su salud se iba a ir deteriorando más y más, por eso le propuso que fueran amigos y cada vez que puede hasta el día de hoy su hijo lo visita, y cuando él puede viene a visitarlos y la pasan muy bien, conversan de todo un poco, se ríen, cantan y pasan un rato muy ameno y agradable cada vez que Piter puede venir a visitarlos.
