The party has ended and it was nighttime. The place looked old and abandoned. "What happened? I was only in there for like 1 hour?" Then she found a flashlight on the ground with a sticky note on it that said "For he lost ONLY!"
"Well I am technically lost, so don't mind if I do." Everything looked different, all the houses, the roads, everything was beaten up. "What happened? Did they miscalculate the fireworks or something?" Ava said as she looked around.
Then she thought of her family and if they were ok.
"MOM!?! DAD!?" Ava said as she ran over to her now destroyed house. She heard nothing back. When she reached her home, she went over to the living room, nothing, the bedrooms, nothing, the bathrooms, nothing, the basement, nothing. When Ava was losing hope, she slowly walked over to the kitchen.
She found a note on the table, Ava quickly picked it up. It said "Hello, if Ava is reading this, I want to say that you probably won't find us here anytime soon. We moved to Guatemala because as you can see, this place is not habitable. A big hurricane came and wiped everything out, please come back, we love you
Love: Mom."
Ava was confused. "Why did they move to Guatemala without me? How did they do it so fast? What did she mean by please come back?" These were all questions that she had in her head at that moment. "How am I going to get a cab to get me to the airport then to Guatemala? I don't have that kind of money!"
