The Fog of War Ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Fog of War" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Summoner:

I chose the "FRANZ RUFFMANE summoner". It was a 44-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Franz Ruffmane summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in armor protection. I included the Captain Katie monster so that it will increase in stats after eliminating a monster. My team lineup comprised the following; Drybone barbarian, Djinn Renova, Meriput Magician, Captain Katie, Dax Paragon, and Anachron Bolter.

1st Position:

Drybone Barbarian, this card has the enraged ability. It is an 9-mana monster with a speed of 2, 5 melee attack damage, and 10 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First of all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra armor. My opponent's lineup comprised six monsters including the Blinding Reflector, Imperial Knight, War Pegasus, Anachron Bolter, Supply Runner, and Pelacor Arbalest.

In the first round, there was chaos in the battle, and after the end of the round, two monsters were eliminated from the battle. One each from both sides. The enraged ability on the Drybone Barbarian increased its stats.

Round 2:

In this round, as usual, after the stats on the Drybone Barbarian monster increased, the speed was affected so it couldn't attack in this round before it was eliminated.

In this round, no monster was eliminated from both sides and the battle then proceeded to the next round.

Round 3:

In this round, the first attack from the Pelacor Arbalest monster was able to eliminate my first-position monster.

A subsequent magic attack also came from my Captain Katie and it was able to eliminate the Imperial Knight monster of my opponent. Captain Katie had the bloodlust ability and then increased in all stats.

Round 4 to 7:
From the 4th round to the end of the battle, it was an interesting one because

Captain Katie monster eliminated two more monsters from my opponent's lineup in every other round until the last round where the Anachron Bolter eliminated the last monster in my opponent's linuep.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my cards especially going in with the Franz Ruffmane summoner. In four rounds, I was able to emerge victorious at the end of the battle.
