Hello guys!

Yeeeeey I'm back again with my Splinterlands post and today I wanna share my Battle Mage Secrets, Explosive Weaponry rulesets. These rulesets always produce interesting matches and usually don't require many rounds to complete the battle with the Explosive Weaponry ruleset. The battle that I will share I think is also very interesting, and I hope you will also like it.

Well, I'm neither a proplayer nor a tournament hero. I just enjoys sharing strategy and battles that I find interesting in my own view. I played on modern battles on Gold leagues using my scholarship account with IGN nightmareinbone, and maybe the battle strategies I'd share weren't suitable to apply in other leag ues because the differences in ability that open up are different from each league.

Ok guys, without further ado, let's get straight to the heart of this post!

BATTLE PREPARATION

Challenge Rules

RULESET: Explosive Weaponry

Description:

All units gain the Blast ability.

Additional damage is equivalent to main damage divided by 2, rounded up.

Include a unit with Reflection Shield in your lineup to absorb blast damage and protect your back line.

Battle Rulesets

photo_2023-06-05_21-07-16.jpg

The rulesets in this battle are:

  • Fog of War (Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity abilities.)
  • Aimless (All Monsters have the Scattershot ability)
  • Explosive Weaponry (All Monsters have the Blast ability)
  • Mana Capacity 35
  • Active Element Fire.

Line Up and Strategy

In accordance with the three rulesets above, the best strategy that can be used is:

  • Using a very powerful tank, because the Fog of War rulesets make all Snipe, Sneak, and Opportunity monsters lose their abilities.
  • The best defense strategy for Explosive Weaponry is to use a combination of Taunt and Reflection Shield ability to isolate the resulting blast, but because Aimless rulesets provide Scattershot ability for all monsters, this strategy cannot be used, so playing with Speed is the best strategy.
  • Using monsters with high speed and also monsters with Swiftness and Slow buffs so that all our monsters can attack at the beginning, and first destroy the opponent's defense.

The order and strategy of each monster that I chose can be seen in the table below:

MonsterPositionAbilitiesStrategy
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-14 (2).jpgTarsaSummoner+1 MeleeConqueror Jacek is the best Summoner in the strategy that I will use because it has a +2 speed buff, but I use Summoner Tarsa to increase the damage of all melee monsters. This is the only Fire Summoner I have.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-14.jpgForgotten OneFirstImmunity, Retaliate, PiercingForgotten One is pretty good as Tnak's choice. Compared to Grum Flameblade, this monster has a higher speed and also has Piercing ability, so its massive damage will not be hindered by Armor.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-13.jpgVenari MarkstratSecondMartyrThis monster acts as a blast receiver obtained from attacks for monsters in the first position. I chose this because it has the Martyr ability, so if this monster dies then the monster next to this monster will have stats that it has will go up. Forgotten One as the main attacker as well as a Tank will be stronger and deadlier.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-13 (2).jpgFirecallerThirdMartyrThe second martyr monster, with the same goal as Venari Markstrat, but the difference is that this monster has greater damage. So in addition to Martyr who is expected to activate soon, the damage from this monster will also help to attack the opponent. Well, if the Martyr of the Venari Markstrat is active, the stats of this monster will also increase, and if the Martyr of this monster is active, the stats of the Forgotten one will go back up.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-11.jpgCountess SinashFourthOpoortunity, Camouflage, Swiftness, AfflictionCountess Sinash has the most important role in this battle, because in addition to having high speed and great damage, this monster also has a Swiftness ability that will provide a speed-up buff for all friendly monsters. As I said above that this strategy of playing speed is the best of the rulesets above. It doesn't matter if this monster loses its Opportunity ability, because its Scattershot also makes its attack target unpredictable and might make this battle even more interesting.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-10.jpgScavo ChemistFifthCleanse, SlowSupport mosnter to increase the opponent's second speed because it has a Slow ability, which will reduce all enemy speed. Although this monster has no attack, I believe this monster will be very useful, both for support and tanks to attack targets.
photo_2023-06-05_21-07-10 (2).jpgScavo FireboltLastKnock OutI chose this monster as an attacker because it has high speed and fairly large attack damage.

line up.jpg
You can see the complete lineup of the two teams in the picture below. Opponents use Summoners from the Neutral Lux Vega monster that provide Speed, HP, and Armor buffs. At first glance, the order of the monsters of the two teams is also almost the same, with Martyr monsters in the second and third positions. Are you curious about how this match will take place? Let's swipe to the Battlefield Arena!

I've also included a youtube video of this battle that you can play right away.

As usual, the battle begins with buff and debuff parties of all summoners and monsters. On average, my monsters have speed above the opponent's monsters. Countess Sinash who has the highest speed gets the opportunity to be the first attacker, followed by Scavo Firebold. The opponent's Scavo Firebold counterattack missed my Scavo Firebold, and became the only miss attack in this round. Unexpectedly, Firecellar's attack killed the opponent's Venari Markstrat and made Martyr's ability active. Stats Grum Flameblade and Firecellar opponents.

round1.jpg

At the end of the first round, the Blast from Grum Flameblade's attack also killed my Venari Markstrat and activated the Martyr ability which increased Forfotten One and Firecellar's stats. Both teams have 5 monsters left at the end of the first round.

round2.jpg

As the second round began, Countess Sinash's attack on Scavo Firebold also caused Firecellar to die. So the Martyr ability again makes Grum Flamebadi's stats increase and also Lava Spider. Grum Flameblade, who now has the same damage and speed as the Forgotten One, blasts his attack to kill my Firecellar and makes Martyr's ability active. The stats of the Forgotten One and the Countess of Sinash increased, but the active Bloodlust also made Grum Flamebalde's stats also increase. Hnaya left Grum Falmeblade alone at the end of the second round.

round3.jpg

I finally won this battle in the third round, when Grum Flameblade died from back-to-back attacks from Countess Sinash and Scavo Firebold. You can see the final result of this battle in the picture below.

STRATEGY DISCUSSION

The strategy that au applies in this battle runs very effectively. I found it easy, even though the strategy used by the opponent was also calculated. The opponent uses a very powerful Summoner, but I think choosing Grum Flameblade as a tank is a bit tricky if you only rely on active Bloodlust and increase stat when Martyrs from the second and third monsters are active. Moreover, Grum Falmeblade also consumes a lot of mana, so the remaining mana that exists makes a limitation in the selection of other companion monsters.

Countess Sinash who provides speed buffs and great damage plays a very important role in the victory I get.
