¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una regla de batalla que otorga la habilidad “Opportunity” a todos los monstruos. En la siguiente sección se explicará más a detalle, por lo que tener en cuenta este aspecto en el análisis para formar nuestras estrategias, es un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de las mismas. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Vida, el invocador Grandmaster Rathe y los monstruos Pelacor Conjurer, Imperial Knight, Venari Marksrat, Drybone Raider, Jared Scar y Albahoo Forester para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Equal Opportunity es una regla que otorga a todos los monstruos la habilidad “Opportunity”. La cual permite que se ataque primero a los monstruos enemigos con la menor cantidad de puntos de vida.

Entonces, conociendo estos detalles, es importante ubicar a nuestros monstruos en las posiciones adecuadas para poder tomar ventaja de las circunstancias. Además de incluir en nuestras estrategias, habilidades como: “Martyr”, “Resurrect”, “Double Strike”, “Shatter”, “Bloodlust”, entre otras.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 39 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Es importante tener una estrategia definida para aprovechar adecuadamente el maná restante para la elección de los monstruos.

La regla “Equal Opportunity” ya la expliqué a detalle en la sección anterior. Por otra parte, Born Again, es una regla que otorga a todos los monstruos la habilidad “Rebirth”, la cual les permite revivirse a sí mismos 1 vez.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Vida, ya que cuenta con monstruos que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño melee y ranged. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Magic Reflect”, “Void Armor”, “Heal”, “Martyr”, “Double Strike”, “Shatter”, “Bloodlust”, “True Strike”, “Triage”, entre otras y con un invocador que incrementa en 1 punto la armadura del equipo y les otorga las habilidades “Void Armor” y “Amplify”.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de daño. Es por ello que decidí elegir al invocador Grandmaster Rathe, ya que incrementa en 1 punto la armadura del equipo y les otorga las habilidades “Void Armor” y “Amplify”.

Pelacor Conjurer fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas una elevada velocidad y las habilidades “Magic Reflect” & “Flying”.

Imperial Knight contribuye con sus ataques desde la segunda línea y en caso que el tanque sea abatido, pasará a la primera posición para defender al resto del equipo. Es importante destacar que su habilidad “Heal” le permite resistir un poco más.

Venari Marksrat es el primer objetivo de los ataques enemigos y tiene el propósito de incrementar en 1 punto todas las estadísticas de sus monstruos adyacentes mediante la habilidad “Martyr”.

Drybone Raider también contribuye con su ataque desde la segunda línea pero con la diferencia que lo hace dos veces por turno, gracias a su habilidad “Double Strike”. Además, tiene la capacidad de destruir la armadura del enemigo mediante su habilidad “Shatter”.

Jared Scar también tiene una participación clave, ya que cuenta con la habilidad “Bloodlust” que en combinación con “Opportunity” y “Rebirth” le permiten alcanzar un nivel de daño increíble.

Albahoo Forester tiene el propósito al igual que Venari Marksrat y Pelacor Conjurer de ser los objetivos principales de los ataques enemigos. Con la diferencia que gracias a su habilidad “Triage”, puede aumentar un poco la resistencia de los monstruos en la segunda línea.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Grandmaster Rathe y los monstruos Pelacor Conjurer, Imperial Knight, Venari Marksrat, Drybone Raider, Jared Scar y Albahoo Forester, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 7 de la ronda 3, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Pelacor Conjurer resistió de maravilla en la primera posición. Por otra parte, Venari Marksrat y Albahoo Forester cumplieron su objetivo. De igual manera, Imperial Knight, Drybone Raider y Jared Scar trabajaron muy bien en conjunto para debilitar al enemigo.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo con resistencia al daño melee y ranged. Y que además incluya habilidades como: “Thorns”, “Demoralize”, “Retaliate”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que los monstruos en la segunda línea enemiga no contaban con mucha resistencia, tenían poca vida. Además, su monstruo con “Taunt”, no contaba con el suficiente soporte para resistir el daño de mi ofensiva.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Ranked battle in the Modern format, focusing my analysis on explaining how I used the Splinter of Life, the summoner Grandmaster Rathe and the monsters Pelacor Conjurer, Imperial Knight, Venari Marksrat, Drybone Raider, Jared Scar and Albahoo Forester to be consistent with the battle rules present and the skills I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

So, knowing these details, it is important to place our monsters in the right positions to take advantage of the circumstances. Besides including in our strategies, skills such as: "Martyr", "Resurrect", "Double Strike", "Shatter", "Bloodlust", among others.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any kind of damage. That's why I decided to choose the summoner Grandmaster Rathe, since it increases the team's armor by 1 point and gives them the "Void Armor" and "Amplify" abilities.

Pelacor Conjurer was the tank this time, as it has good stats, including high speed and the "Magic Reflect" & "Flying" abilities.

Imperial Knight contributes with his attacks from the second line and in case the tank is killed, he will move to the first position to defend the rest of the team. It is important to note that his "Heal" ability allows him to resist a little longer.

Venari Marksrat is the first target of enemy attacks and has the purpose of increasing by 1 point all the stats of its adjacent monsters through the "Martyr" ability.

Drybone Raider also contributes with his attack from the second line but with the difference that he does it twice per turn, thanks to his "Double Strike" ability. In addition, he has the ability to destroy the enemy's armor with his "Shatter" ability.

Jared Scar also plays a key role, as he has the "Bloodlust" ability, which in combination with "Opportunity" and "Rebirth" allows him to reach an incredible level of damage.

Albahoo Forester has the same purpose as Venari Marksrat and Pelacor Conjurer of being the main targets of enemy attacks. With the difference that thanks to his "Triage" ability, he can increase a little the resistance of the monsters in the second line.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Grandmaster Rathe and the monsters Pelacor Conjurer, Imperial Knight, Venari Marksrat, Drybone Raider, Jared Scar and Albahoo Forester was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Note how by turn 7 of round 3, the enemy team was almost down. Pelacor Conjurer resisted marvelously in the first position. On the other hand, Venari Marksrat and Albahoo Forester met their objective. Likewise, Imperial Knight, Drybone Raider and Jared Scar worked very well together to weaken the enemy.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and coherence with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team with resistance to melee and ranged damage. And that also includes abilities such as: "Thorns", "Demoralize", "Retaliate", among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the monsters in the second enemy line did not have much resistance, they had little life. In addition, their monster with "Taunt" did not have enough support to resist the damage of my offensive.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the stats and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
