Usé una estrategia con doble Taunt & Quora Towershead para sobrevivir a Noxious Fumes [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Tierra. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná alto y con las reglas “Are You Not Entertained” y “Noxious Fumes”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Brawl de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Tierra, el invocador Obsidian y a las unidades Grund, Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead, Fungus Flinger, Mycelic Slipspawn y Terraceous Hulk para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 49 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Dejándonos con una cantidad de maná restante suficiente para elegir las unidades adecuadas.

Are You Not Entertained? es una regla que permite utilizar a una unidad Gladius en la batalla. Por otra parte, Noxious Fumes, aplica Poison a todas las unidades en cada turno.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Tierra, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen ataque mágico y melee. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Double Strike”, “Martyr”, “Bloodlust”, “Heal”, “Blind”, “Taunt”, entre otras, y con un invocador que incrementa en 1 punto el ataque mágico del equipo.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de cualquier tipo de ataque. Es por ello que decidí utilizar el invocador Obsidian, ya que incrementa en 1 punto el ataque mágico del equipo.

En esta oportunidad Mycelic Slipspawn y Terraceous Hulk actuaron como tanques temporales, utilizando la habilidad “Taunt” para canalizar todos los ataques enemigos hacia ellos. Esto es clave en la estrategia, ya que le da tiempo al resto del equipo para debilitar al enemigo.

Grund estuvo al frente del equipo, pero con la particularidad que sólo recibió ataques del tanque enemigo. Esto le permitió aprovechar mucho mejor cada ataque, que en conjunto a la habilidad “Double Strike”, hacen una gran combinación.

Venari Marksrat y Fungus Flinger tienen el objetivo de incrementar las estadísticas de Quora Towershead a través de la habilidad “Martyr”.

Por otra parte, Quora Towershead es la unidad clave en la estrategia, ya que con la combinación de la habilidad “Martyr”, “Bloodlust” y “Heal”, es capaz de alcanzar un estado que le permitirá sobrevivir a las circunstancias y al enemigo.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Obsidian y a las unidades Grund, Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead, Fungus Flinger, Mycelic Slipspawn y Terraceous Hulk, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 15 de la ronda 3, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Mycelic Slipspawn y Terraceous Hulk cumplieron su objetivo, al igual que Grund, Venari Marksrat y Fungus Flinger. Todo esto hizo posible que Quora Towershead alcanzará un estado que le permitió resistir todas las condiciones de la batalla.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con resistencia a los ataques mágicos y melee, así como a los efectos del Poison, e incluya habilidades como: “Shield”, “Protect”, “Void”, “Repair”, “Silence”, “Demoralize”, “Magic Reflect”, “Amplify”, “Immunity”, “Heal”, “Tank Heal”, “Triage”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con habilidades de soporte para resistir tanto el daño de mi ofensiva como las circunstancias de la partida.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to share with you an analysis of my experience using a strategy with the Earth Splinter. In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Brawl battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I used the Earth Splinter, the Obsidian summoner and the units Grund, Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead, Fungus Flinger, Mycelic Slipspawn and Terraceous Hulk to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Let's talk about the team and its strategy. Given the circumstances, it was obvious to use any type of attack. That's why I decided to use the Obsidian summoner, since it increases the team's magic attack by 1 point.

This time Mycelic Slipspawn and Terraceous Hulk acted as temporary tanks, using the “Taunt” ability to channel all enemy attacks towards them. This is key to the strategy, as it gives the rest of the team time to weaken the enemy.

Grund was at the front of the team, but with the particularity that he only received attacks from the enemy tank. This allowed him to take much better advantage of each attack, which together with the “Double Strike” ability, make a great combination.

Venari Marksrat and Fungus Flinger aim to increase Quora Towershead's stats through the “Martyr” skill.

On the other hand, Quora Towershead is the key unit in the strategy, since with the combination of the “Martyr”, “Bloodlust” and “Heal” skill, he is able to reach a state that will allow him to survive the circumstances and the enemy.

As I mentioned before, choosing the Obsidian summoner and the units Grund, Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead, Fungus Flinger, Mycelic Slipspawn and Terraceous Hulk was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 15 of round 3, the enemy team was almost down. Mycelic Slipspawn and Terraceous Hulk met their objective, as did Grund, Venari Marksrat and Fungus Flinger. All this made it possible for Quora Towershead to reach a state that allowed him to withstand all battle conditions.

The strategy proposed made an efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, a good offensive, and coherence with the present set of rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has resistance to magic and melee attacks, as well as to Poison effects, and includes abilities such as: “Shield”, “Protect”, “Void”, “Repair”, “Silence”, “Demoralize”, “Magic Reflect”, “Amplify”, “Immunity”, “Heal”, “Tank Heal”, “Triage”, among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have support abilities to resist both the damage of my offensive and the circumstances of the game.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
