Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! - Anachron Bolter OP card for playing in silver league!

In this post I want to share my thoughts about op card from rebellion in my opinion. From time to time, when I have some liquid money I just buy cards, which I don't have and this time I decided to buy op rare card, which can be a game changer!

Anachron Bolter

The Anachron broke from the Continuum—an order of mages able to manipulate time—to join the Chaos Empire. Their arbalists combine their command of time and expert accuracy to rain argute bolts and arcane blasts on their enemies with deadly results.

As you can read from lore, this is powerful unit with dual damage.

My thoughts about Anachron Bolter at different levels

Ok, now I will show you what this card looks like at lvl 3. 2 bcx gf is 3 lvl.

Since this card in my opinion not require more bcx to be op. This would cost me double of what I paid or even more, because prices just surges a lot. Difference is only 1 speed between level 3 and level 4.

but there is a big difference between level 2 and level 3. This card get additional 1 range attack, which is a lot in silver league. Another good thing about this card is his main skill headwinds.

Which is really op, when you need to play in ranged matchups only. This card is must be card for this ruleset that's why I decided to put my money to get this card!

Another good thing, which can decide about result of your battle is additional magic damage. This card attack from magic and ranged attacks. Sometimes you play versus tanky card, which have shield skill and massive repairs at the backline, so the only way to deal damage is just go with some ability power.

First look

Ruleset + abilities from all cards and summoners look

It finished with all my cards dealing only 1 dmg.. with that power I can't kill even second card, which will have 8 hp after martyr rat dies.

Anarchon after getting buff from Venari Marksrat is now very powerful, can't attack with bow from first position, but deal 2 damage from magic!
This is now unstoppable card, which can carry game alone.

Ajax Lightfoot is really powerful card, but with that much power get killed just by return fire damage. but it was not end of my problems in this match, because I had 1 unit at tank 2 other units with only 1 dmg..

It goes only worse and worse round after round..

i was so close to kill tank healer and dps on the back, but 2 magic damage was too powerful for my Venari with only 5 hp.

Final hit from magic and bang my last unit get down, which means that I lost this battle.

Conclusion.. just get Anarchon Bolter!

This was my home battle with advantage of speed, but my opponent just took away my distance skill 2 times! 1 from summoner Quix and second time from Anachron Bolter. My summoner Ilthain is very powerful, but without a damage can't be really dangerous. Maybe, if I would use amplify then I will have a chance for win this battle, but nope I played without this ability, which was not good for me. Don't even know, if I life card have this ability in silver hmm.. I need to check that on peakmonsters

Life in ranged only ruleset not have amplify, let's check neutral monsters too!

The only card, which can change anything seems to be upcoming promo card, which will be really expensive and was not available in this matchup anyway. So I had no chance to just amplify my team to deal more output damage. So in short, if I can't deal more damage I should at least nerf my opponent damage with headwinds with Anachron Bolter at least. Now I am prepared for such a ruleset and I can be ready for next battle!

This is my transaction from peakmonsters, where I bought 2 bcx 3 days ago.

And compared to current prices it seems for a good deal!

I paid less than 5$ for single bcx!

I play usually in silver gold foil tournaments and in gf modern fray in Summoner's Tribe, which is T5 brawl. There so much strong opponents and this card will be a great addition to my current collection!
