The crypto has been down down down, hope this days will be over and we could have those christmas rally. This weeks Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! i am going to share " ISGALD VORST IN THE DRAGON BREATH BATTLE RULESET " where i am going to share a battle of it.


THE BATTLE
This battle is a 41 mana battle with dragon breath battle ruleset against a strong opponent who has a grasp on strategies. My opponent uses underboss fabino as his archon with quora towershead along them while i used cryptic as my archon with isgald vorst alongside with its team.

KNOWING ISGALD VORST
Some people of ΛZMΛRÉ have been battle-hardened by the most brutal land in the known world, the Frozen Hell ice shelf of the north. The clan Vorst is the largest ice clan that has inhabited this frozen world, and a young lady named Isgald is their champion. Through years of enduring bitter cold every day and night, her skin has taken on an eerily beautiful shade of blue. Several other members of the Vorst clan have similar complexions, but because Isgald is one of the only Vorst clanspeople who has traveled outside of ΛZMΛRÉ, she has become known as the blue princess. She is in fact not a princess at all; residents of ΛZMΛRÉ recognize the power of no government nor royalty.
The small statured blue princess is a fierce fighter who requires minimal armor and weaponry to go up against foes that are much larger than her. Some say that her skin, in addition to being blue from the cold, is also hard like ice and difficult to penetrate with any blade. Isgald carries a short sabre that has been handed down through a long line of women in the Vorst clan and a small but indestructible shield said to have been crafted by the hands of the Frost Giant himself.

* ISGALD VORST - is a 5 mana water common gladiator card. At level 5 it has 4 melee attack, 3 armor, 5 health and 4 speed. At level 5 it has also has bloodlust ability (+1 to all stats after dealing a killing blow) and opportunity ability (Targets the enemy unit with the least health). With its bloodlust and opportunity ability once it kills one enemy its stats got plus 1 that makes him a monster that hard to stop becoming my favorite gladiator alongside quora towershead.

1. CRYPTIC - is a rebellion card dual water and death legendary archon. It is a 7 mana cards. It takes out -1 speed to all enemy units and provide blind to all enemy units from the start of the battle. It also gives added two type of tactics , first option is to give enfeeble, -1 to targets melee power after each succesful attack and retalliate - 50% chance to counter melee attack even after being defeated. Cryptic second tactic is poison - provides 50% chance to provide poison after succesful attack. Poison units will lose 2 health at the beginning of each round . And expose - provide 80% chance to remove forcefield, lookout, deflect, shield, void, void armor, cleanse or immunity after succesful attack.


2. COMMANDER SLADE - is a 10 mana water rare rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 6 it has4 melee attack, 7 armor, 10 health and 5 speed. It has also enfeeble, dodge, and deflect ability. Its high health, heavy armor, 6 speed and dodge ability makes him a very good tank sometimes they called him tha tank that can not be hit because often times the slow enemy misses to hit him. It is very good in weak magic,lost magic, up close and personal , melee mayhem and super sneak ruleset. Most of the time i used him as the main tank .

3. DARK ARBORIST - is a 4 mana death rare rebellion soulbound reward card. At level6 it has 2 magic attack, 7 health and 2 speed. At level 6 it has demoralize ability (-1 melee power to all enemy units) and magic reflect ability ( Returns 50% of damage to attacker (rounded up) when hit by a magic attack). Dark aarborist is good to counter melee attack monster by removing -1 melee on them.

4. THORNMAW BERSEKER - is a 7 mana common death conclave arcana reward card. At level 8 it has 3 melee attack, 4 armnor, 8 health and 4 speed. At level 8 it has 3 abilities; final rest ability (allied and enemy abilities that trigger on defeat cannot activate), magic reflect ability, and life leech ability . This monster can attack at any position due to its charge ability it one of the reason i like to play it with cryptic specially with the added poison ability that works with all melee battle ruleset.

5. ARACHNE WEAVER - is a 5 mana epic death rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 5 it has 2 magic, 7 health and 2 speed . At level 5 arachne weaver has corrupted healing ability and scavenger ability . Arachne weaver is one of the hidden gem rebellion reward card as it is overshadowed by olivia of the brook and halfling refugee. Its corrupted healing ability is one that can help or carry the game together with its scavenger ability to stay longer in the game.

6. SHOCK TROOPER - is a 4 mana epic water rebellion reward card. At level 5 it has 5 magic attack ,6 health and 4 speed. At level 5 it has also electrified ability (Deals 1 damage to all allied Units at the beginning of each round) and swiftness ability ( +1 speed to all allied units ). Although it has a electrified ability that makes its disadvantage it huge 5 magic attack make him strong that also the non existence of forcefield ability in modern battles.

In this battle is a 41 mana battle with dragon breath battle ruleset my strategy and positioning is to use cryptic as my archon providing poison ability to commander slade as tank and isgald vorst at 4th position avoiding sneak attack. I then provide dark arborist at second position for its anti melee ability. Then i provide thornmaw berserker at 3rd position for its ability to attack at any position and its leech ability holding the line specailly with dragon breath ruleset which is also the reason i added arachne weaver at 5th position for its corrupted healing ability . Then i provide shock tooper at last position due to its heavy 5 damage.
