About Mycelic Morphoid

According to Splinterlands Lore, Mycelic Morphoids are in a constant state of growth and development. As part of Queen Mycelia's brood, Morphoids work to spread the growing blight on Praetoria. Infected themselves by the poison, they take root near streams and rivers, contaminating it with the blight. In turn, the waters feed them, and a second Morphoid sprouts from the original. Together, the two travel as one until they split and continue the process.

Laut der Splinterlands Lore befinden sich Mycelic Morphoids in einem ständigen Wachstums- und Entwicklungsstadium. Als Teil der Brut von Queen Mycelia arbeiten die Morphoids daran, die Krautfäule auf Praetoria zu verbreiten. This monster card came into the game with the Chaos Legion.
It is an common Earth card, costs 1 Mana and has the Thorns ability.
However, this ability is unlocked only at level 3.
At level 1 it has 1 melee attack, 1 Speed and 2 Health. It can be upgraded to level 10 and it will have 2 melee attack, 3 Speed and 3 Health.

Sie ist eine gewöhnliche Earthkarte, kostet 1 Mana und hat die Thorns Fähigkeit.
Diese Fähigkeit wird jedoch erst auf Level 3 freigeschaltet.
Auf Level 1 hat sie 1 Nahkampfangriff, 1 Geschwindigkeit und 2 Lebenspunkte. Sie kann bis Level 10 aufgewertet werden und hat dann 2 Nahkampfangriff, 3 Geschwindigkeit und 3 Lebenspunkte.

THORNS

When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.Has an upper cap of 2 damage.

My Line up

Summoner Obsidian

I chose Obsidian to strengthen my monsters with her buff. Each of our magic monsters gets +1 magic damage. She also allows me to take the Mycelic Morphoids monster with me.

Hill Giant

Since I was low on mana, I decided to use the Hill Giant as a tank at position 1. At level 3, he has 2 melee attack and 7 health. In addition, he gets +2 shield from Queen Mycelia at position 3.

Da ich nur wenig Mana zu Verfügung hatte, entschied ich mich für den Hill Giant als Tank auf Position 1. Auf Level 3 hat er 2 Nahkampfangriff und 7 Leben. Zusätzlich bekommt er von Queen Mycelia auf Position 3 +2 Schild.

Khmer Princess

At position 2, the Khmer Princess attacks with 1 (+1) magic damage. With only 2 mana cost, this monster is often used in battles with little mana.

Mit nur 2 Manakosten ist dieses Monster oft in Kämpfen mit wenig Mana im Einsatz.

Queen Mycelia

Queen Mycelia positioned at position 3 also attacks with 1 (+1) magic damage. In addition, she gives all our monsters +2 shield through her Protect ability.

Goblin Psychic

A powerful magic monster that attacks at level 3 with 2 (+1) magic damage. Its Tank Heal ability allows it to heal the monster at position 1 every round.

Mycelic Morphoid

I decided to put the Mycelic Morphoid in the last position in this battle. Since the ruleset says that all Melee Monsters have the Sneak ability, opposing Melee Monsters should attack him first and take damage from the Thorns ability as well. He also profits from Queen Mycelia. (+2 shield)

Ich habe mich in diesem Battle dazu entschieden den Mycelic Morphoid auf die letzte Position zu setzen. Da das Regelwerk besagt, dass alle Nahkampfmonster die Fähigkeit Sneak besitzen, sollen gegnerische Nahkämpfer ihn zuerst angeifen und durch die Thorns Fähigkeit ebenfalls Schaden erleiden. Auch er profitiert von Queen Mycelia. (+2 Schild)

Battle

My opponent chose Mother Khala from the element Life.
I honestly expected my opponent to play the Fire or Water element.
His lineup consisted of the Shieldbearer, Divine Healer, Armorsmith, and Venari Crystalsmith. A great strategy that consists of not letting the Shieldbearer die.

Mein Gegner wählte Mother Khala vom Element Leben.
Ich hätte ehrlich gesagt damit gerechnet, dass mein Gegner das Element Feuer oder Wasser spielen würde.
Seine Aufstellung bestand aus dem Shieldbearer, Divine Healer, Armorsmith und Venari Crystalsmith. Eine tolle Strategie die daraus besteht den Shieldbaerer nicht sterben zu lassen.

What do I think about the Mycelic Morphoid ?

I really like the Mycelic Morphoid. I play him at level 3, so I can take advantage of his Thorns ability. I also like the story behind the Mycelic Morphoid, since I also like to play Queen Mycelia in combination with him. 🍄

Ich mag den Mycelic Morphoid sehr gerne. Ich spiele ihn auf Level 3 und kann mir deshalb seine Thorns Fähigkeit zu nutze machen. Außerdem mag ich die Geschichte hinter dem Mycelic Morphoid, da ich auch Queen Mycelia gerne in Kombination mit ihm spiele. 🍄
