My HUMBLE 7 month experience playing Splinterlands // 15K+ CP // SPS daily AIRDROP

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

I first started playing Splinterlands, with little or no idea at all about what it was all about, in June 2021. I probably opened my account because of the whole "play to earn", go little by little thing, aiming to be able to build a decent passive income mechanism over time that let me, with daily work, own a significant amount of crypto.

Today, I have battled a total of 5.247 times, because up until last month I used to try to get as much DEC as possible with as many battles as I could, even though I never had a good collection and I have never raised above Silver League in rank. My highest rating ever was 2,074.

Anyway, as of now, I have bought enough legendary / gold foil cards to have a little more than 15K CP, because I think that's a barrier you have to break if you want to get something out of this game. That's the least you can do, actually. I will continue buying legendary cards, specially the cheap ones from Chaos Legion, as long as the market doesn't change, because I believe right now those prizes are ridiculously low. You can practically build a huge CP with about 400$, which is just a little amount of money if you consider what other crypto projects demand from your pocket.

And chances are even those cheap legendary cards will be expensive one day, as are those from the Untamed, Dice and other collections. Just hold.

Why have I chosen this path? Simply because of the SPS daily airdrop. I have a humble portfolio. I get around 2,5 SPS daily from the airdrop, with some 23K airdrop points total (today). I have some DEC, some CP and some Chaos packs that I probably won't open for some time.

SPS has a market value of 0,18$ TODAY, but it will raise above 1$ and more one day.

I will keep adding to my DEC, my Collection Power and to my Chaos Packs to keep increasing my daily aidrop points. As of today, I just see no reason to not go all in to this kind of free money machine.

Also, ALL my cards give me daily DEC through rentals. A normal renting day will amount to around 50 DEC, but always keep in mind the last days of the season are crazy and you practically 10X in every card. So yes, it's brutally good passive income and all you have to do is take a look at market prices every now and then.

A look at some of my cards being rented in Peakmonsters.

As I said, this is just a small investment. All my assets (DEC, CP, SPS, Card Packs) amount to about 300$. But I will keep adding and it will be four figures over time.

The endles compounding of assets as you continue to receive DEC from rentals and SPS from airdrops can actually make you rich if you put enough money from the start. And don't forget the income from SPS staking.

My point with this post is: Splinterlands will let anybody see DAILY growth just by holding cards, renting, staking SPS, receiving daily the SPS airdrop (still almost 200 hundred days left). And you get all that without any kind of fees.

And daily growth is the same as daily hope, betterment, and trust in your personal journey.

There is just no reason to not be in Splinterlands right now.

3 years ago, I was right where you are now. Splinterlands has been very good to me, and I think it's got a lot of growth ahead of it still.
