Three Must Have Cards in New Bot Free Modern!

For our social media challenge this week, we are going to emphasize the importance of three cards/types of cards for the new bot free modern format. It has been very refreshing playing in bronze with my second account knowing my skill is the biggest factor in winning matches. There are however a few cards and type of cards that you need to succeed in modern which we will cover below. 1. Djinn Oshannus: A woefully underpriced card in my opinion, the djinn is a staple in modern with minimal counters when played in the correct ruleset and mana cap. The two damage and void make it melt melee cards and resist heavy magic damage. A play I have had success with in low mana is a marksrat with martyr and oshannus behind. Three magic damgae with void is almost unstoppable outside of a quorra.

2. Gladiator Cards: Speaking of quorra, gladiator cards are a must have in modern given their power and bloodlust ability. Joining a guild to earn these cards is a must if you want to succeed in the lower leagues as cards such as quorra, katrelba, and isgold vorst can single handedly win you matches.

3. Unicorn Mustang and Goblin Psychic: One of the combos above a certain mana cap that can beat the oshannus mentioned above is the mustang and psychic. Pairing this with obsidian is a real tough combo as you need alot of damage and speed to take out the mustang on a frontal assualt. The psychic with three magic damage also hits hard melting a tank on the other side.
