RE: Splinterlands Strategies: Conflicts, Join or Veto?

in Splinterlands4 months ago

I have disliked the direction Splinterlands has taken for a while and these mage wagons just is another step creating yet another asset making everything more costly and complicated. All this while card prices continue to fall off a cliff as most of their use case is stripped away from them over time.

They have at least managed to get DEC to peg but mostly by milking older existing players and not so much because new money came in. It's quite sad though as the core card game really has the potential to be really fun and accessible.

It's not like it used to be for sure. Too many cards to choose when you play is one factor. It's overwhelming and better left for computers to play (bots). Some more filtering would help but was never implemented.

CL fell off a cliff as it was overprinted. RW has done OK, as few were printed. I am keeping my sealed packs, over 400. Nobody could have predicted what would happen, and I am sure you remember all the CL hype in December 2021?
