@splinterlands is a game that keeps us in constant change, and that’s why this post exists, due to the new update they implemented this week.
From my point of view, it’s both good and bad, depending on the type of player you are. That’s why in this post we’ll discuss a bit about how to adapt to this new change the project has brought us. That said, let’s get started:
RENT OR BUY?
This topic hasn’t been well received in the community because many players would rent a certain card for days, and having to rent it for a season can be problematic due to the energy we have and the additional cost of energy, which is something you need to think about. Another issue is that there aren't many good cards for all players, and rental prices can skyrocket; this is good for those renting them, but it’s a problem for the average player.
That’s why you should consider owning your own cards, especially the ones from the current expansion, since they won’t rotate to wild for at least a year.
OPTIONS
You can acquire the Gladius cards and level them up to stay competitive in ranked matches against your opponents. Another option is to level up the current reward cards (the ones you buy with Glint) to keep them at a good level. However, you'll need to buy or rent a good summoner at a certain level (level 4 or higher) to maximize the use of these cards.
GC
Renting can have two outcomes: the first is that people get bored and leave because they can’t find cards to rent, and the second is that rental prices get too high and renting doesn’t justify the return on investment. Another possibility is that card prices could drop drastically because no one wants to rent them, but I lean toward the first scenario.
THE LANDS?
Well, if you already have one, it’s time to start improving it, either by putting better workers on it or buying more DEC to purchase any resources you need, as the better optimized it is, the lower your costs will be.
If you’re thinking about buying one, I’d advise waiting for the hype to pass, as the prices have gone up, just like the cards though not by much, they have gone up.
I think it’s a good time to save up and think about buying at least an epic land, as I feel it’ll provide greater benefits. It’s also important to consider which region and area it’s in.
Overall, these new changes are good for the game as they generate movement in its assets. Let’s hope that these changes bring new things to the project in the short and long term, although, to be honest, I think there is more growth potential in the land gameplay mode, as it’s still in its early stages.

@splinterlands es un juego que nos tiene en constante cambio y es por eso la razón de este post debido a la nueva actualización que implementaron esta semana.
Desde mi punto de vista es buena y mala a la vez según el tipo de jugador que seas y es por eso que este post hablaremos un poco al respecto sobre como adaptarnos frente a este nuevo cambio que nos plantea el proyecto.Dicho esto comencemos:
RENTAR O COMPRAR?
Este tema no ha caído muy bien en la comunidad debido a que muchos arquilaban por dias X carta y el tener que arquilarla por una temporada puede ser problema debido a la energía que disponemos y el tener que hacer un gasto adicional por la energía es algo que tienes que ponerte a pensar. Otro aspecto es que no hay tantas cartas buenas para todos los jugadores y los arquileres pueden dispararse; eso es bueno para el que las renta pero para el jugador promedio es un problema.
Es por eso que debes plantearte en tener tus propias cartas en especial la de la expansión actual ya que no rotara a wild por lo menos un año.
OPCIONES
Puedes adquirir las cartas Gladius e irlas leveleando para no quedarte atrás en las ranked frente a tus oponentes, otra opcion es también subir las cartas actuales reward ( las que compras con glint )para tenerlas en un buen nivel; eso si tendrás que comprar o arquilar un buen invocador de cierto nivel (nivel 4 hacia arriba ) para sacarle buena partida a estas cartas.
Lo de arquilar puede tener 2 salidas: la primera es que la gente se aburra y se vaya frente a que no encuentra cartas para rentar y la otra es que los arquileres suban mucho de precio y no justifique arquilar para el retorno de inversión. Otro aspecto es que también puedan bajar las cartas drásticamente de precio porque no haya quien quiera rentarlas, pero me inclino por lo primero.
LAS TIERRAS?
Bueno si ya tienes una toca empezar a mejorarla ya sea poniendo mejores trabajadores en ella o comprando mas dec para comprar algún recurso que necesites, ya que entre mejor la tengas optimizadas menores seran los costos.
Ya si piensas en comprar alguna te aconsejo que esperes y que pase el hype ya que han subido de precio al igual que las cartas, no mucho pero han subido.
Creo que seria buen tiempo para ahorrar y pensar en comprar una tierra mínimo épica ya que siento van a ser mayores los beneficios como también importante en que región y sitio este ella.
En general es bueno estos nuevos cambios para el juego ya que genera movimiento en sus activos. Esperemos que estos nuevos cambios traigan nuevas cosas para el proyecto a corto y largo plazo, aunque si le soy sincero siento que hay mas oportunidad de crecer en el modo de juego de tierras ya que aun esta en una etapa temprana.
