100% ROI with Splinterlands

in Splinterlands2 days ago (edited)

Absolutely, you read that correctly! I achieved over 100% ROI during my fourth brawl in Splinterlands!

My Fourth Brawl

Once again, I've been placed in the GF Rebellion Fray. It looks like our guild leader has recognized that I excel in this particular assignment.

Here's what I love about Gold Frays: there are fewer participants, which means I only have two active battles left to complete.

With this reason, I've won all my battles—most of my opponents didn't even show up to fight. It seems many guilds are short on brawlers this time around.

Winning the Battle to Win the War

I'm going to showcase this battle that I won.

Rulesets

What Doesn't Kill YouRise of the CommonsDeflection Field

What Doesn't Kill You- All units have Enrage (+50% melee power and speed if not at full health, rounded up).

Rise of the Commons - You can only summon rare and common units.

Deflection Field - All units have Reflection Shield (0 damage from Blast splash damage and Punishment abilities—Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns).

Setting up My Team
Source

I chose Zeddica as my summoner to leverage both Water and Death Splinters in one deck. This strategy was particularly cost-effective for me since I'm working with a limited GF card collection that I've rented. With Zeddica, I can maximize my available resources, making the most of the few cards I have without needing to invest heavily in separate decks for each element.

Grimbardun Fighter as Tank

I choose the Grimbardun Fighter as my tank in this round because of its impressive durability and its high health lets it withstand a lot of damage protecting my team effectively.

Relenor Cleaver in the Second Line

I placed Relenor Cleaver in the second line. With him in this position, I capitalized on its high damage and Reach ability.

Ranged Attackers

Henchling EnforcerSultry BarmaidMar Toren Seeker

I chose the Henchling Enforcer, Sultry Barmaid, and Mar Toren Seeker for their exceptional ranged attack capabilities and damage output, ensuring my team can strike effectively from a distance while maintaining pressure on the enemy front line.

I added the Mad Ogre Anarchist for his "Opportunity" ability, which allows him to ruthlessly target the enemy unit with the lowest health.

Brawl Results

Four of us in the guild maintained a perfect record, significantly boosting our guild's performance in this brawl.

Guild Performance

Our guild has now performed well for the second time in a row.

The 100% Return of Investment

For this brawl, I invested around 100 DEC in card rentals via @peakmonsters.

Thanks to our guild's impressive performance in this brawl, each participant earned 28.081 SPS, equivalent to approximately 200 DEC. This translates to an incredible 100% return on investment!

Caveat: I find it essential to clarify in my posts that achieving a 100% ROI might not be typical or guaranteed for all players.

While ROI is an important factor, I also want to ensure that the title doesn't overshadow the fun, strategy, and community elements of the game, especially for those who aren't solely focused on the financial aspect.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
