Greetings HIVERS and Splinterlandnatics around the world. Its almost week end and somebody might be thinking of "happy FRIYAY!" as they say this moment. Its another round of our very own SPLINTERLANDS and its social media challenge. And in few hours, its closing of another season of the game and i wish you luck with all your gains. Currently i decided to play a bit more specially in modern and so most of the glints i earned for this season were used to buy energies since i am spending them in both Wild and Modern gameplays. Its been awhile since i play modern so i decided to rent some good cards which i have red to some posts that can be undefeated or more likely have a high win rate. Eternal Tofu is one of those cards and I decided to see for myself if this is true.

  • This is the Eternal Tofu card and i peek it's price on the market. A Legendary summoner that is Regular Foil with a price of $59 per BCX is an expensive thing for this game. Add the thing that this card is part of the new collection which is the Rebellion series and not part of its promo card. Its just a year or so that this series of cards had been introduce to the game and the Eternal Tofu's price fetch this much. This just emphasize this card is most sought and got the higher win rate (which is i believe) in the gameplays. Another thing that i am showing you its price is i believe that when a card is expensive, its value was proven by the OG players here. Well, its just me, you should also do your own research regarding this matter.

Let's take a look on one of my Modern battles using Eternal Tofu:

The rulesets only allows a 30 mana capacity, with Unprotected, Back to Basics and Maneuvers.

  • My team composition is Eternal Tofu as my summoner. Okay, before i proceed with other side characters, lets just take note that Back to Basics is present in the Rulesets which means only the skills provided by the summoner will be the Monsters skill and of course if there are other rulesets present in this fight, like the Maneuvers, it will be added to monster skill set.
Continuing, since it is just 30 Mana Capacity game, I should balance my monsters on a medium mana capacity battle. Of course, Eternal Tofu can summon monsters from Life, Earth and Neutral splinters so I got more varieties to choose from. Placing Hill Giant as my 1st Position monster card for the reason that shield is not going to be present base on the rulesets. Pallus was used because of Maneuver ruleset and that 5 melee damage. Since Back to Basic is on the ruleset, my other remaining monsters will be all attacking from range or magic dealers. Regal Peryton, Djinn Biljka, Dax Paragon and Acid Shooter completed my team. +2 Health, Snare and Thorns, basic skills of Eternal Tofu, was boosted to my Monster line up. There are other group of skills that can be used in Eternal Tofu's characteristic. I can choose between the pair of Corrosive Ward and Divine Shield that can be use for 3 monsters or Scavenger and Triage for a single monster. I am choosing the latter for this fight. Well i know putting divine shield in my 3 monsters is like placing 3 guns with no ammunitions in my opponent but i have the urge to use Scavenger to Regal Peryton. And i think that the +2 health will grant a good boost to the protection of my monsters.

The Battle:

  • I am opposing against the earth splinter with Obsidian as the summoner. My opponent pick up magic damage dealers which is good to the type of ruleset like Back to Basics. Let's continue with what happen to the battle.

The first round ended where both of our front was demolished. Those magic attacks coming from my opponent are no joke. Continuing to the fight.

Round 2, i also lost my 2nd position monster. The opponents team is providing a good fight in this battle. As my Regal Perryton is taking the role of the tank, i am confident that it can absorb enough of the attacks because of scavenger ability it posses and boosted it life. This is also my ticket to win this battle.

And the battle ends in round 3.

  • The experience playing the card Eternal Tofu is satisfying. With enough energy, i easily climb up silver rank to diamond rank in no time. Even though this is just my first time playing that card, it easily enhance my gaming knowledge and can be easily paired with old life, earth and neutral splinters. I think the price is really just right to this card. You should try it!

I guess its time to wrap up things and see you around fellas!

Thank you for your time!
