Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with death splinter and my opponent used a earth splinter against me. Dragon teams were banned in this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 99 mana cap and one rule:

Standard: No modification to standard gameplay rules and mechanics.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, THADDIUS BROOD level 8. This summoner lowers enemy magic attack power and health.

First Position, GOBLIN MECH level 6. This tank has great stats and two abilities: Piercing and Stun.

Second Position, USUT level 1. This monster can become stronger by killing enemies.

Third Position, CTHULHU level 2. Another very powerful mage who can Stun my enemies.

Fourth Position, ANCIENT LICH level 3. This is awesome mage who can gain more health because it has Life Leech ability.

Fifth Position, PHANTOM SOLDIER level 3. This monster can lower enemy magic attack power.

Sixth Position, HYDRA level 3. This monster is a great protection from Sneak attacks because it has Heal, Thorns and Retaliation.

My Strategy & Tips

I used a few monsters with Stun because I wanted to stop my enemies. One of my mages and my summoner had to lower enemy magic attack power. I also hid ANCIENT LICH in a middle of my team so it would be safe and gain more health. At last I placed my HYDRA in last position because I wanted to protect my team from Sneak attacks.

Analysis of The Battle

My GOBLIN MECH was able to Stun enemy tank. My HYDRA killed enemy gladiator who had Sneak ability. At this point my opponent no longer had any cards that could threaten my team his remaining monsters were simply a bit annoying. I lost my tank but that was not important in grand scheme of things. My enemies died one after another and so I won.
