Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge: Counterspell [ENG-ESP]

Another week and another Splinterlands challenge, this time the Battle Rule is "Counterspell", which means that all cards on the battlefield will be given the "Magic Reflect" ability, so because of this you have to avoid using Magic Attack type cards to avoid receiving extra damage, therefore, these are today's battles with the Counterspell Battle Rule:

In this first battle I used the EARTH deck, I only had 22 mana points so I had to come up with a strategy according to the situation and the best thing I could think of was to use all Melee cards and especially cards that had abilities like "Sneak" and "Opportunity", so the strategy for this first battle was as follows: In first position is VENARI KNIFER, an excellent card of the Melee type, a perfect card against other cards of the same type since it has the ability "Thorns", because of this when receiving an enemy attack from another card of the Melee type it will receive damage by this ability. The next two positions are composed of cards that have the "Opportunity" ability and those two cards are: VENARI SCOUT, which is in the second position and this is an excellent card because it has very good stats and only has a mana cost of 3 points, being an excellent choice for this occasion.

As well as the card that is in the third position which is: SCREECHING VULTURE, another excellent card with the ability "Opportunity", perhaps a little weaker than the previous card, but also has the ability "Flying", which makes it effective against other Melee cards or Range Attack type. In the next two positions are cards with the "Sneak" ability; which is one of my favorite abilities and those cards are: Occupying the fourth position is GOBLIN THIEF, a pretty good card, with good stats, maybe not defensively it is not very powerful, but it makes up for it with its ability and with its offense. In penultimate position is the last card with the ability "Sneak" of this strategy, which is: URAEUS, excellent card from the NEUTRAL deck, this is one of the cards I use the most in the strategies I do and are composed of Melee type cards, plus it also has a fairly low mana cost. And in last position is: FURIOUS CHICKEN, the "filler card" par excellence, but should not be underestimated.

BATTLE 1

In this second battle is composed of cards from the WATER deck mostly, this is a much simpler strategy than the first one since I had no idea how to put together the strategy and improvised a little on the fly and in the end it gave good results, being the strategy for this second battle the following: In first position is SEA MONSTER, a very old card, which curiously I had this card in my collection since my early days in Splinterlands (formerly Steemmonsters) but I don't remember why exactly I had sold that card (SEA MONSTER) but then I bought it again some months ago and this card is really powerful physically and also, it has the ability "Heal" so it makes it even more resistant.

In second position is: FLYING SQUID, an excellent Melee card, very powerful both physically and defensively because it has high stats, it also has the ability "Reach" that allows it to help in the frontal attack. In third position is the only card of the Rank Attack type, that card is: NAGA WINDMASTER, I particularly like this card very much and I use it in a variety of opportunities and strategies with the WATER deck, it is a card with good stats and has the ability "Headwinds", which reduces -1 point of Rank Attack to the cards of my opponent. In fourth position and to slow down my opponent's cards is: CREEPING OOZE, which has the ability "Slow". And in the last two positions are two cards with 0 mana cost, which are: TORRENT FIEND and FURIOUS CHICKEN.

BATTLE 2

Otra semana y otro reto de Splinterlands, esta vez la Regla de Batalla es “Counterspell”, la cual consiste en que todas las cartas en el campo de batalla se les será otorgada la habilidad “Magic Reflect”, por lo que debido a esto hay que evitar utilizar cartas del tipo Ataque Mágico para que de esta forma no recibir daño extra, por lo tanto, estas son las batallas del día de hoy con la Regla de Batalla Counterspell:

En esta primera batalla utilice el mazo EARTH, apenas contaba con 22 puntos de mana por lo que tenía que ideas una estrategia acorde a la situación y lo mejor que se me ocurrió fue utilizar en su totalidad cartas del tipo Melee y especialmente cartas que tuvieran habilidades como “Sneak” y “Opportunity”, por lo que la estrategia para esta primera batalla fue la siguiente: En primera posición se encuentra VENARI KNIFER, una excelente carta del tipo Melee una carta perfecta en contra otras cartas de su mismo tipo ya que cuenta con la habilidad “Thorns”, debido a esto al recibir un ataque enemigo de otra carta del tipo Melee esta recibirá daño por dicha habilidad. En las dos siguientes posiciones están compuestas por cartas que cuentan con la habilidad “Opportunity” y esas dos cartas son: VENARI SCOUT, la cual se encuentra en la segunda posición y esta es una carta excelente ya que cuenta con muy buenos stats y apenas tiene un costo de mana de 3 puntos, siendo una excelente opción para esta ocasión.

Así también como la carta que se encuentra en la tercera posición la cual es: SCREECHING VULTURE, otra carta excelente con la habilidad “Opportunity”, quizás sea un poco más débil que la anterior carta, pero también cuenta con la habilidad “Flying”, por lo que la hace efectiva ante otras cartas Melee o del tipo Ataque de Rango. En las dos siguientes posiciones se encuentran cartas con la habilidad “Sneak”; la cual es una de mis habilidades favoritas y esas cartas son: Ocupando la cuarta posición se encuentra GOBLIN THIEF, una carta bastante buena, con buenos stats, quizás no defensivamente no sea muy poderosa, pero lo compensa con su habilidad y con su ofensiva. En penúltima posición se encuentra la última carta con la habilidad “Sneak” de esta estrategia, la cual es: URAEUS, excelente carta del mazo NEUTRAL, esta es de las cartas que más utilizo en las estrategias que hago y están compuestas por cartas del tipo Melee, además que también tiene un coste de mana bastante bajo. Y en ultima posición se encuentra: FURIOUS CHICKEN, la “carta relleno” por excelencia, pero no por eso debe ser subestimada.

BATTLE 1

En esta segunda batalla está compuesta por cartas del mazo WATER en su mayoría, esta es una estrategia mucho más sencilla que la primera ya que en no tenía mucha idea de cómo armar la estrategia e improvise un poco en la marcha y al final dio buenos resultados, siendo la estrategia para esta segunda batalla la siguiente: En primera posición se encuentra SEA MONSTER, una carta muy antigua, que curiosamente tenía esta carta en mi colección desde mis primeros días en Splinterlands (anteriormente Steemmonsters) pero yo no recuerdo porque exactamente había vendido esa carta (SEA MONSTER) pero luego la volví a comprar hace algunos meses atrás y esta carta es realmente poderosa físicamente y además, cuenta con la habilidad “Heal” por lo que la hace aún más resistente.

En segunda posición se encuentra: FLYING SQUID, una excelente carta Melee, muy poderosa tanto física como defensivamente porque cuenta con stats elevados, además cuenta con la habilidad “Reach” que le permite ayuda en el ataque frontal. En tercera posición se encuentra la única carta del tipo Ataque de Rango, esa carta es: NAGA WINDMASTER, esta carta particularmente me gusta muchísimo y la utilizo en variedades de oportunidades y en estrategias con el mazo WATER, es una carta con buenos stats y cuenta con la habilidad “Headwinds”, la cual reduce -1 punto de Ataque de Rango a las cartas de mi contrincante. En cuarta posición y para ralentizar a las cartas de mi contrincante se encuentra: CREEPING OOZE, la cual cuenta con la habilidad “Slow”. Y en las dos últimas posiciones se encuentran dos cartas con 0 coste de mana, las cuales son: TORRENT FIEND y FURIOUS CHICKEN.
