Hello Splinterlands community, for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge this week I will like to share one of the newest released reward card in the Rebellion set and I will share some of my insights and ideas on that reward card which I think is a great offensive rebellion unit that can provide a huge help very well to the team if it deployed in the battlefield. The recent reward card that I am talking about is none other than Luceheim Demon. This unit is a great life range monster in the Rebellion Set which can bring the whole enemy team down. Luceheim Demon is a very powerful unit not only because of this unit's great ranged damage but also for it's ability which is very useful and helpful in the match wherein that ability can be the game changer for the team. The great ranged damage attacks from Luceheim Demon favors very well with its ability that works perfectly to take down enemy units on the backline of the enemy team. I will keep sharing my thoughts about Luceheim Demon and I will examine the strengths, advantages and strategies that can be implemented to the team composition in order to utilize very well not only the offensive capability of this unit but also its ability which would beneficial to the whole team.

About Luceheim Demon

Luceheim Demon is a common life unit which deals ranged damage to the enemy team and belongs to the Rebellion Set. This card is currently not available in the marketplace in the game which includes both purchasing this card or renting it. The only possible way in order to collect this card is through earning Glints by winning several ranked battles in the game. The Glints can be used in the Glint shop in order to purchase reward cards in the game which could turn out to be Luceheim Demon. In order to get Luceheim Demon in your collection, hardwork and determination is needed as the card can be obtainable through playing the game.

The figure above shows the Glint shop where you can spend the Glints that you earned by playing and winning ranked battles in the game. There are multiple reward items that you can choose from, there is energy, legendary potion, alchemy potion, merits and even exclusive titles that can only be purchased inside the Glint shop. As mentioned above the only way to obtain Luceheim Demon in the game is through purchasing reward cards in the Glint shop which has a lot of options to go with. There are loot chests that gives a random reward which include rewards cards, potions, merits and energy. The rarity draws on the other hand guarantees a reward card based on the type of draw selected. In the case of Luceheim Demon, it would be advisable to go with the common draw as that draw returns a guaranteed common Rebellion reward card which could be Luceheim Demon. It is also the cheapest rarity draw in the Glint shop which gives you more opportunity to purchase the common rarity draw and obtain Luceheim Demon.

The figure below shows the overall statistics of Luceheim Demon from Level 1 up to its maximum level of 10. Since this is a common unit, it would take at least 400 copies of this card in order to upgrade this unit to its maximum level. This would not be an easy task, as this card is not available yet in the marketplace and the only way to collect this card is through purchasing the reward cards inside the Glint shop. It would take a lot of hard work and commitment in collecting multiple copies of Luceheim Demon, as upgrading this unit would be worth while especially if this unit was able to reach a certain level where it could bring more impact in the battlefield.

Based on the figure above, It would be advantageous to upgrade Luceheim Demon to at least Level 4, as this level would make Luceheim Demon more powerful and impactful in the battle. At this level, not only does the unit's health would increase but also enhances its armor which improves the durability of this unit against enemy monsters that prioritizes the monster in the backline of the team. Additionally, when this unit was upgraded on this level, the second ability of Luceheim Demon is now unlocked and available which is Cleanse. The Cleanse ability removes all the negative effects on the monster that is currently in the first position of the team. The Cleanse ability would be very useful in the team especially if the enemy team has a monster or summoner that gives negative effects to the team. Upgrading this card to its maximum level would also unlocked the third ability of this unit which is Triage. The Triage ability is also a useful ability which heals the monster in the backline of the team that takes the most damage from the enemy team. Having these two abilities unlocked for Luceheim Demon would make this unit not only destructive against the enemy team but also makes this unit a good support card for the team.

Rulesets

Luceheim Demon is a great life unit that deals a great amount of ranged damage to enemy units and this ranged damage can be more powerfuul in the battle if the certain rulesets in the game are present in the match that favors very well with Luceheim Demon. Since Luceheim Demon has a great amount of ranged damage against the enemy team, it is crucial to utilize this ranged damage as this unit can take down enemy monsters that is in the back line of the enemy team and one thing need to consider as well is the sustainability of this unit against opponents since this unit has a decent amount of health and also has a shield which would be useful against melee and ranged enemy monsters. Luceheim Demon has the ability to become the main source of damage for the team as not only it has a great amount of ranged damage but also it has a very useful ability which allows this unit to take down the monsters in the back line of the enemy team. That is more the reason that I will share and talk about the rulesets in the game that should make Luceheim Demon very powerful and more efficient in your battles.

Explosive Weaponry

This ruleset suits very well with Luceheim Demon. This ruleset gives every monster in the battlefield the Blast ability at the start of the match. This ability causes the damage from this unit to deal additional damage to the units that is adjacent to the target enemy monster. That ability works very well with the Snipe ability of this unit which gives Luceheim Demon the opportunity to deal additional damage to the enemy team and potentially take down more opponents in the backline of the enemy team in a one single strike.

Reverse Speed

This ruleset also suits very well with Luceheim Demon. This ruleset allows monsters that has the lowest amount of speed to strike first each round. This effect from the ruleset allows Luceheim Demon to strike earlier every round as this unit has a very low amount of speed. Having the capability to deal damage early each round against the enemy team allows this unit to potentially take down enemy monsters that is very vulnerable.

Close Range

This ruleset is also good for Luceheim Demon if this ruleset is present in the match. This ruleset allows ranged monsters to deal ranged damage even if they are placed in the first position of the team. This situation is advantageous for ranged monsters such as Luceheim Demon, since this unit has a decent amount of health and it has an armor which absorbs the initial melee and ranged damage it would receive from the enemy team. This ruleset would be helpful on certain situations in the match whenever Luceheim Demon is now placed in the first position of the team.

Armored Up

This ruleset is also beneficial for Luceheim Demon. It grants additional 2 armor to every monsters deployed in the battlefield at the beginning of the match. This additional armor significantly enhances the durability of all monsters in the match that includes Luceheim Demon, this is very effective specifically against melee and ranged enemy monsters. The increased durability coming from this ruleset allows Luceheim Demon to survive longer in the match, especially if this unit was targeted by the ranged and melee enemy monsters.

Aim True

This ruleset is also great for Luceheim Demon. This ruleset makes all ranged monsters and melee monsters to not miss their attack on their target monsters. This makes Luceheim Demon ranged damage to always hit on the enemy unit that is in the backline of the enemy team with the help of its Snipe ability. Having this ruleset present in the match guarantees that Luceheim Demon would be able to take down its target enemy unit more efficiently.

Summoners

Choosing the summoner that will be used for the match needs a careful decision making and a thorough understanding of the rulesets that are present in the match, as well as the available mana pool since the selected summoners play a huge factor on how Luceheim Demon would be effective and efficient once it is deployed in the battlefield. Since this unit is a Life element monter, Luceheim Demon can only be deployed in the battlefield using either life or dragon element summoners wherein the life element should be present in the match. There are also new summoners in the game that consists of two elements which can also be considered in building the team composition as these summoners expands the pool of available monsters that can be used in the battlefield.

Based on my experience in playing the game on my battles, tournaments and Guild brawls, I mostly rely on the Chaos Legion Cards, Gladius Cards, Rebellion Cards, Reward Cards and some starter cards that is available in the match. Being said that I would like to share some of my preferred summoner choices that works very well and should be favorable for Luceheim Demon. These summoners that I have selected are proven to be effective and useful for Luceheim Demon in the battlefield that makes the impact of this unit in ranked battles and guild brawls more powerful and noticable.

General Sloan

This summoner is the best choice to choose if you are planning to use Luceheim Demon in your battles. This life summoner gives additional ranged damage to all your units at the beginning of the match. The ranged damage buff from this summoner enhances the ranged damage that Luceheim Demon deals to the enemy team. This buff would be a huge help for Luceheim Demon as it allows this unit to take down the enemy monster in the backline more efficiently with its Snipe ability alongside the ranged damage buff from this summoner.

Chuul Jujinchi

This summoner is also a great choice to go with if you are planning to include Luceheim Demon in your team composition. It is a life and earth summoner which does not have any buffs to the team as well as negative effects for the enemy team. This dual element summoner allows you to deploy not only life element units such as Luceheim Demon but also earth element monster which gives the team more flexibility and adaptibility on the rulesets present in the match. Additionally, there are also earth element monsters in the game that works very well with Luceheim Demon making this summoner a good option in your battles.

Helios Matriarch

This summoner also serves as a good option when you are planning to deploy Luceheim Demon in your battles and when the life and dragon element is present in the match. This dragon summoner gives an additional speed to all your units at the beginning of the match. This speed buff coming from this summoner allows Luceheim Demon to strike earlier each round giving Luceheim Demon an edge and allows this unit to take down the enemy monsters in the backline with the help of its Snipe ability. Additionally, choosing this summoner in the match gives you the ability to deploy dragon element monsters on the battlefield as well as Gladius units in the game which gives the team more flexibility as there dragon element monsters and Gladius units that works very well with Luceheim Demon.

My Battle

This is the modern ranked battle that I would want to share where I used my Luceheim Demon alongside with other life element monsters and also dragon element monster to take down the enemy team. Luceheim Demon was able to deal a great amount of ranged damage to the enemy team and Luceheim Demon was able to target the vulnerable enemy monsters at backline which helps the team to secure the victory.
