Leveling up your neutral monsters from Rebellion for bronze league

The max levels that you can play for Bronze league are level 3 commons, level 2 rares, level 2 epics and level 1 legendaries. You don't have to have any of your cards leveled up to earn full rewards in bronze league, but you'll have an advantage against opponents that haven't started combining cards.

If you happen to have any legendary summoners then you can play monsters that are maxed out for bronze. When I first talked about going wide with your collections, one of the cards I recommended was Quix the Devious. When I talked about some of the best new cards to pick up from Rebellion, Akane was right near the top of that list. If you have a copy of Quix or Akane then you can pair it with these upgrades.

I think these are some of the most impactful monsters to start leveling up from our delicious new Rebellion set.

Grimbardun Fighter

Grimbardun Fighter has been mostly overlooked in the matches I've played so far. 9 mana is 1 more than the typical tank and as a neutral monster with the shield ability at level 1, this is a solid tank for practically any lineup. 3 melee is nothing to scoff at either. At level 2 Grimbardun Fighter picks up an extra health. At level 3 it picks up the corrosive ward ability which will permanently hinder any monsters your opponent brings out, especially those with armored strike. I think this is the most meaningful neutral card out of Rebellion to upgrade within the bronze limits. Most of the other neutral cards in the set just pick up extra health within bronze levels.

Honorable mentions

Increasing the starting health of your monsters can mean the difference between a win an a loss, but some increases in health are more important than others, primarily those for those monsters that start out with very little health to begin with. Here are some little health boosts that may go further than others.

I'm excited to see more people experiment with the new and improved weapons training. Moxian Rebel as a rare with a mana cost of just 4 effectively introduces every player in the game to this ability, and I think that we will start to see the use cases increase because of that.

I will skip making a post about dragon monsters from rebellion for bronze as there are no common or rare dragons in the set, and the 2 epic dragons just pick up extra health at level 2.

If you start to level these cards up remember that they will revert to level 1 if you pair them with a level 1 common or rare summoner like the ghost card summoners you have access to.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite cards are to level up.

My last few days have been good. I'm excited to see how the updated rewards system works for me. So far, so good. I think that I'll end up in gold several days earlier in the season and that will be a good thing since my rewards will no longer be throttled for low level cards.

Your experience is inspiring mee to reach to the highest league.

Wow amazing if feels something different when you level up your card to max.
