I wanted to share one of my battles from BRAWLS because this particular lineup effectively neutralized an overpowered combo. I hope you can learn from and enjoy this game as much as I did.

It is a FRAY 1 brawl, which implies that all our cards will be at level 1. With the FOG OF WAR ruleset and upon seeing the enemy's cards, including QUORA, LLAMA, and KRON, I anticipate the utilization of the classic overpowered combo. Consequently, my plan is to adopt a defensive approach, reinforcing my defense against magic damage. Additionally, I intend to choose two supports that can provide HEAL to my tank, preventing the enemy's basic damage from eliminating my monster.

SUMMONER

Immortalis is the ideal summoner to counter the LLAMA + QUORA combo due to its ability to reduce the enemy's HP by 1. Additionally, it grants my monsters the VOID ability, which proves highly effective against magical monsters like KRON and QUORA.

TANK

QUORA TOWERSHEAD is an exceptional tank choice. I selected her because I wanted to counter fire with fire, and with her HEAL ability and 11 HP, she can effectively withstand the enemy's damage output while also serving as the primary damage dealer.

SUPPORTS

WOOD NYMPH is one of the healers in my lineup, and her primary role is to ensure the survival of my QUORA.

GOBLIN PSYCHIC serves a similar purpose to WOOD NYMPH in my lineup. This monster will provide healing support to my QUORA while also contributing with its 2 magic damage capability to deal damage.

MUSHROOM SEER is the final piece in my lineup. Its SILENCE ability will reduce the enemy's magic damage, ensuring that my QUORA can effectively withstand their attacks.

As anticipated, the enemy opted for the LLAMA + QUORA lineup. However, my defensive lineup is well-prepared to withstand the power of their formidable monsters.

ROUND 1 & 2

The first two rounds involved exchanging damage, and my defensive strategy clearly demonstrated its effectiveness during this initial phase. My support units successfully healed my QUORA back to full health, nullifying the enemy's damage output.

ROUND 3 & 4

In the second and third rounds, my monsters gradually eliminated the enemy's monsters, resulting in a 4v1 battle against her lone QUORA.

ROUND 5 - 7

In the end, despite her QUORA receiving the buff LAST STAND, she was still unable to defeat my main tank due to the double HEAL strategy. My monsters persisted and eventually emerged victorious, gradually wearing her down.

AFTERTHOUGHTS

The FOG OF WAR ruleset creates an engaging dynamic for a LLAMA + KRON/QUORA game. If KRON/QUORA is positioned last, they will undoubtedly benefit from the LAST STAND ability of LLAMA, enhancing their power significantly. That's why the optimal strategy is to select healers and focus on magic defense, as the key to defeating this combo lies in ensuring your tank can withstand the enemy monsters.
