Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Social Media Challenge! Joining a guild is important in Splinterlands. It gives us benefits such as the ability to buy Gladius cases and bonus in our rewards earned. We can also participate in brawls where we can earn merits and SPS. Today I will share about my guild brawl performance for this week.

Performance and Standings

I performed well in Fray 8 winning all my battles and helping our guild, Blockraiders finish in the middle of the standings and earning some decent merits and SPS.

Favorite Battle

My usual team composition of a Imperial Knight and Adelaide to repair his armor. I have my Taunt unit, Iziar who is being healed by Djinn Renova and Spirit Hoarder. Completing the team is Celestial Harpy.

My opponent picked only four high mana cards and his summoner is costs 6 mana as well. This gives me an advantage since I have 6 monster dealing damage to his 4. I won the battle without a single card being eliminated.

Buying and Opening Gladius Cases

I have enough merits to buy two Gladius cases and strengthen my Gladius cards.

I got an epic among the cards but not a Quora though. Still, I like the cards I pulled particularly both Gobsons from the Earth team. Katrelba is a great damage dealer with her Sneak and Double Strike abilities while Betrol is a low mana card with Opportunity ability.

Conclusion

If you are playing Splinterlands then you must join a guild. It offers opportunities for more fun battles and additional rewards. Having guild mates can also help you in terms of cards and sps being delegated. There are a lot of guilds looking for members in the Splinterlands discord chat so come by and say hello if I may borrow @aftersound 's usual line 😀

Thank you for reading and have fun in your battles!
