Overview
The new Weekly ruleset Challenge is an amazing twist that I am enjoying so far and I hope there will be twists like that in the future to keep this Challenge's fresh. 😁
This week the ruleset is the Earthquake, which means that all non-flying units take 2 physical damage at the end of every turn. 😊
Snared units are considered non-flying. Since the damage given is physical, it can be reduced to 1 if the unit has the shield ability.
The upcoming Battle ruleset

The mana cap for my next battle was 29, which not that much to easily pick what I want and on top of that I would have to pick monsters with the Flying ability in order to counter that ruleset.
The Earth and Life ruleset was banned from this battle, so I had to pick something else and luckily one of the Summoner is just perfect for this battle. The Lost Magic ruleset gives me a bit headache, because my choosen Splinter has a lot of amazing magic attack monster who is able Fly. 👍
My lineup
 | I picked Kelya Frendul for this battle, because he cost only 4 mana and his ability is to increase the speed and armor to all of his monsters. The extra armor comes very handy to block the first round of Earthquake damage if they weren't hit by the enemy monsters. 🤭 |
| Noa the Just is a reward card, which we can earn from the loot chests. His speciality is not his attack, because he doesn't have any, but his high speed, health and armor. His abilites are Rust (to remove two armor from the enemy monsters) and Evade (it will gives him an extra dodge chance against the enemy melee and ranged attacks). 😜 |  |
 | I was lucky enough to finally acquire the Kulu Mastermind from my recent loot chest, because he is also a reward card and it is not possible to rent or buy him at the moment. He has 4 melee attack boosted by his Opportunity ability, so he will be able to attack from my backline, but his most imporatant ability is his Weapon Training, which means that he will gives his own attack to the monsters next to him. 😆 |
| The Daigendark Surveyor is a low mana cost Rebellion monster, who doesn't have any attack on its own, but my Kulu will take care of her and will give him some melee attack damage. 😉 |  |
 | The Deeplurker is an a excellent Water* monster, because he cost 6 mana has a lot of melee attack damage and he also has the Opportunity ability, which will allow him to attack the lowest health monster from the enemy team. 😋 |
| The Pelacor Bandit cost only 3 mana, so he will fit nicely into my team. He is my only monster with the Flying ability, so he will be completely unaffected for the Earthquakeruleset. He also has the Sneak ability, which will allow him to attack the last monster from the enemy team. 💪 |  |
 | I have rented a gold foil version of Torrent Fiend to protect my lineup from the incoming Sneak attacks in the first two round, because the Fiend will die anyway from the Earthquake damage. Being a gold foil monster he will increase the amount of rewards by 10% in a winning battle. 🤑 |
The Battle
My opponent picked the Possibilus the Wise from the Water Splinter and he tried to play the classic combination of Diemonshark and the Coastal Sentry and we will see if they will be quick enough to win the game by themselves before the Earthquake will finish them off.
In the first round my monsters started attacking their Noa and they missed few attacks, because he also has high speed and Evade, but my opponent monsters did the same as well. 🤞
Luckily in the second round my monsters killed their Noa and they could start killing their deadly combination of Diemonshark and Sentry who missed all of their attack against my Noa again.
At the end of the second round the Earthquake killed their Sentry and only his Diemonshark left on the battlefield, which is also died in the third round. 😇

I like this ruleset as long as there is enough mana to spend on my favorite flying monsters and if they are not going to be banned like in this battle where all of the Magic attack monsters were banned. 🤗
