This week I brought a battle, where I will try to beat one of the strongest Summoner in the game and his maxed levelled monsters. The ancient Untamed Summoners are the best in the whole game, so it requires quite a lot of planning in order to beat them. 😆
Hope you will enjoy the battle like I did! 😇
I used the Water Splinter with Possibilus the Wise who is also a high mana cost Summoner and my only chance is to deal as much as much damage possible in the shortest period of time, before the indirect damage from the Blast ability will kill my monsters. 😇
Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Weak Magic | Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. |
Up to Eleven | All monsters have the Amplify ability. |
Target Practice | All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. |
The mana cap was 51, which is more than enough for both of us to pick any monster and strategy that we would like to use. The Weak Magic ruleset will make all the Armored units on the battlefield more stronger against the Magic attacks and athe Amplify ability from the Up to Eleven ruleset will increase the damage of any reflected ability.
The Target Practice ruleset will allow all the Ranged and Magic attack monsters to skip the Melee attack monsters as long as they are not the only ones on the battlefield and such they will target the Ranged, Magic or Non-attack monsters first. 😉
Possibilus the Wise
Possibilus the Wise cost 6 mana as a summoner, which is almost the most expensive in the game, but in return he has three ability to give it to his monsters. He will increase the Health of all of his friendly monsters by two and he also gives the Reach ability to them as well, which means that all the Melee attack monsters from the second position will be able to attack. The Trample ability will provide an extra attack to his Melee attack monsters in case they kill an enemy monster. 😌
Commander Slade
Commander Slade will be my main tank for this battle, because he has a lot of Armor and Health, but he cost 10 mana. Usually tanks like him has low Speed, but Slade is quite fast and has three Melee attack damage.
He is a new monster and arrived recently to the Splinterlands realm, so he has a new ability as well, which wasn't seen before. That ability is the Enfeeble, which means that each succesful attack will reduce his target Melee attack by one. 😜
Coastal Sentry
The Coastal Sentry is the perfect pair with Possibilus, because she will receive the Reach ability, which will enable her to attack from the second position as a Melee attacker. She also has the Double Strike ability, so she will be able to attack twice in every round. 😇
Venari Marksrat
I used the Venari Marksrat solely, because he has the Martyr ability, which means that he will increase all the stats of their adjacent monsters by one. He was destined to die quick and twice, so my team would benefit a lot from his death. 🤗
Noa the Just
On its own Noa the Just doesn't have any attack, but thanks to my Kulu Mastermind he got some Melee attack from him. He had the Rust ability, which means that he will be able to reduce the Armor from the enemy monsters by two as long as he lives. 😌
Kulu Mastermind
The Kulu Mastermind is a Melee attack monster with quite a lot of attack damage. His most important role is his Weapon Training ability, which means that he will give his own attack divided by two to his neighbourghs, but only if they do not have any attack on their own.
On top of that he will be able to attack the weakest monster in every round, because of the his Opportunity ability. 💪
River Hellondale
Even though River Hellondale is a Magic attack monster he had the Resurrect ability, which means that he will be able to bring back to life the first friendly monster from my team with one Health. If everyhing goes well this would mean that my Venari Marksrat would be able to use his Martyr ability twice to make his neighbourghs stronger. 😎
My opponent brought Yodin Zaku, who is one of the best and strongest Summoner in the gamge, because he gives +1 Ranged attack and Health to all of his monsters. His most important power is that he also gives the Blast ability to all of his monsters, which means that they will be able to deal damage to the adjacent monsters of their target. 😒
He brought a pretty strong team, because the high mana cap allows the use some of the highest mana cost monsters. All of their Ranged attack monsters had the Snipe ability, because of the Target Practice ruleset, so all of their Ranged attack monsters started to attack my Venari Marksrat who died immediately. My Hellondale brought him back to life and he died again, which was part of my strategy, so he was able to increase all the stats of his neighbourghs twice.
Still in the first round my Coastal Sentry attacked their Grum twice behind from my main tank, which was quite a lot of damage. My Kulu had the Opportunity ability, so he killed their Creeping Ooze who had the lowest Health. Thanks to the Trample ability my Kulu was able to attack again on the next target after the Ooze. 😅
Not much happened in the rest of the first round, so in the second round almost all of the enemy monster was quicker than my team and they did quite a lot of damage as a result of their Blast ability. Luckily none of our monster died and my Sentry was able to finish off their Grum even though he had a lot of Armor and Health at the beginning of the battle.
My Sentry also got an extra attack from the Trample ability, so she straight away attacked their Lava Launcher as well. My tank stood firm in the first position, because most of their damage went into my backline, but luckily my team managed to kill their Lava Launcher in the second round and the extra attack from the Trample allowed my Kulu to kill another monster from the enemy team.
By the third round only two monster left from the enemy team and only one of them was able to attack, so it was quite easy to finish of the battle with a glorious victory over a very powerful Summoner and team. 😁
