Overview
Today I brought a Brawl battle, where I got one of my least favourite ruleset, which is the Little League. I hope that I will be able to use that to my advantage even though the new Arcana expansion just arrived. π
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

Ruleset | Description |
---|---|
Little League | Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles. |
Earthquake | Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round. |
The mana cap for my next battle is 41, which is quite good, but it is kinda useless, because the maximum mana that I can use is 28, so basically all the monsters are available for me under 4 mana.
The Earthquake ruleset will be quite dangerous in this battle, because the monsters under 4 mana are tend to have low healths and the Earthquake will deal 2 damage to all the monsters without the Flying ability. π
My lineup
![]() | Kelya Frendul is an excellent Summoner and he cost only four mana, which is perfect for this ruleset. He gives +1 Armor and Speed to all of his friendly monsters. π |
The Xenith Monk cost exactly four mana as well, which is nice and has quite a good amount of health and the Heal ability, which will provide him some extra sustain. π | ![]() |
![]() | The Venari Marksrat cost only three mana, which will makes him usable in this battle. His stats are not so good, but he has the Martyr ability, which means when he dies he will increase the stats of his neighbours by one. The Earthquake is going to help him to die quick, which is good to activate his ability. π€ |
The Shock Trooper has outstanding damage and stats, but he comes with a great risk as well, because he deals one damage at the beginning of the round from the second round onwards to his allies. Hopefully the battle will be finsished before he zapps all my monsters. π | ![]() |
![]() | The Kulu Swimhunter is a simple damage dealer with a lot of health and at least two ranged attack, which is nice from a four mana cost monster. π |
The Merdhampir also cost four mana, but his damage is just only one. He has the Life Leech ability, which will allow him to steal some health from the enemy monsters. π | ![]() |
![]() | The Clockwork Aide cost only four mana and he doesn't have any attack at all, but in exchange he has a lot of armor, which will hopefully protect him against the enemy damage and Earthquake long enough to out survive everyone else. π |
The Battle

My opponent brought Alric Stormbringer who is also a Water Summoenr and his power is to give +1 Magic to all of his friendly monsters. π
My team was a bit quicker than my opponent monsters and the result of that my team killed their tank pretty quickly right after the first round started. My opponent also had a Shock Trooper, which dealt quite a lot of damage to my Monk and sadly their Ice Pixie finished him off. I have also lost my Venari Marksrat as well, because their Rebel and Albatross had two magic attack thanks to their Alric. π²
The combination of the Earthquake and the zaps on both sides (The Shock Trooper is zapped everyone in their own team) killed one monster from my team and FOUR from the enemy team. That is why I picked Kelya, because even the +1 armor will be enough to counter the entire first Earthquake damage. π€
Only their Pelacor Bandit left in their team who received a personal welcome damage from my Shock Trooper and killed him allowing me to win this battle.

Battle Result
Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy was to utilise the protective ability from Kelya and that worked really well over the damage buff on my opponent team. π
