What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are enjoying the day with your family and friends and also playing this game in your daily free time. For serious players who battle in this game daily, I guess that by now, all of you have claimed your season-end Glint rewards and are now preparing to sail in this new and fresh season. Whatever your goals were for the last ranked season, I guess you have accomplished that well and are now setting new challenges for yourself. Now talking about me, last season I managed to reach my goal which was to enter the Champion league and I also got a lot of Glint points for playing throughout the season, which I have already spent after buying Common, Rare and Epic card draws and receiving some needy Epic cards and some cheap gold foils as well. For this new season, we still have more than 13 days in hand before it reaches its end and before that, all of us have to embark on a new journey, so let’s buckle up.
Moving forward, let me now come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about another amazing Rebellion card and as you have already guessed, today I will be showcasing the ETERNAL TOFU. So, if you are interested, let’s take a jump without any further ado.
Eternal Tofu
ETERNAL TOFU is a summoner type card that was launched in the game with the latest Rebellion edition card and this comes under the core Rebellion card set. This summoner card belongs to the Life element and it costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily choose this card when playing medium to high mana limit matches. It is a legendary card, so you will need a total of 11 BCXs of cards to upgrade this summoner to the maximum level. This summoner comes with a lot of useful buffs but with a trick. Let me explain that below.
- First of all, it will provide
+2 health
to all the friendly monsters.
- It will provide
Snare
ability to all the friendly monsters. With this ability, monsters can hit flying cards with 100% accuracy and remove the flying ability from enemy monsters.
- It will also provide
Thorns
ability to all the friendly monsters. With the help of this ability, your monsters when taking a hit from enemy melee monsters, do 2 melee damage to that enemy card.
Now apart from these 3 buffs, this summoner comes with another set of multiple buffs where you can either choose one set that will Give Corrosive Ward and Divine Shield to 3 cards or the other set that will give Triage and Scavenger ability to 1 monster. So you can choose one of these sets according to your requirements, which will be very beneficial.
Corrosive Ward
- When hit with a melee attack, the unit does 2 armor damage to the attacker and the max armor of the attacker is reduced by 2.Divine Shield
- The first time this unit takes damage is ignored.
Triage
- Heals the friendly backline monster that has taken the most hits by a third of max health. Scavenger - Gains 1 max health each time any unit dies.
Monster support levels
- At level 1, this summoner supports monster cards max levels of Common - 3, Rare - 2, Epic - 2 and Legendary - 1.
- At level 2, this summoner supports monster cards with max levels of Common - 5, Rare - 4, Epic - 3 and Legendary - 2.
- At level 3, this summoner can max support levels as Common - 8, Rare - 6, Epic - 5 and Legendary - 3.
- At its max level 4, this summoner supports cards of max levels as Common - 10, Rare - 8, Epic - 6 and Legendary - 4.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
This time, I got a medium 28 mana limit match where every element but Fire was allowed in this match. There were also 2 rulesets applied in this match - High Five (only max 5 monsters can be used in this match) and Close Range (Range monsters can attack from first position). After seeing all the rules of this match, I started thinking of a useful strategy and finally decided to use melee monsters with Eternal Tofu summoner. So, I started building my lineup accordingly and first chose the Eternal Tofu as my summoner and then put the Hill Giant in first position followed by Regal Peryton, Venka the Vile, Stitch Leech and Uraeus at the last position.
When both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Legendary Dragon summoner Quix the Devious and at his first place, he chose the Pelacor Conjerur followed by Void Dragon, Dax Paragon, Djinn Renova and Oshuur Constantia at the end position. Anyway, as the battle started, my Venka easily killed the Conjerur but it got resurrected again and then my Hill Giant died due to enemy magic attacks. My Stitch then attacked and killed the wounded Constantia. In the second round, my Venka again killed down the Conjerur and it itself got killed and gladly at the start of round 3, the enemy Djinn Renova also died due to poison and my sneak monsters also killed down the Dax Paragon at this round. Finally, in round 4, the only enemy monster alive was the poor Void Dragon but my Venka took good care of it and thus, I won another great match.
I hope you loved watching the battle with Eternal Tofu and also liked reading my battle post. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
I wish you all good luck with all of your future Splinterlands matches.
