Hello Splinterlands fam!
I hope you all are doing well in your lives and enjoying an amazing day with your family and friends. For splinterlands players, however, the time is getting pretty intense, because if you look at the ongoing season clock, only around 8 days remain for this current ranked season to meet its end. So, for those of you who are actively playing in this season and have set a goal for themselves, whether it is to advance to any league tier and claim some juicy league tier reward chests, or to battle against the top players to claim a glorious seat the champion leaderboard, it is time now to ‘push and shove’ and reach your goal. If you are an experienced player and have been playing splinterlands for a while, you already know how bloody the battle arena becomes in the last 2 days of a season, where all the top players from around the world with their unbeatable collection and war strategies get super active and winning against them becomes a real pain. Hence, it is wise to accomplish your goal sooner and give your battle energy bar some time to recharge itself for the upcoming season. So, all the best, my fellow players, and I hope you reach your goals sooner this time.
On the other hand, the popularity of the newest Frontier mode is increasing day by day and I guess most of you are already playing this free-to-play mode and building your foundation card collection. Now talking about myself, I have been playing this new gameplay mode for quite some time and gladly, I have been able to build a decent collection of foundation cards in my arsenal, where most of them I have earned organically by playing the frontier mode. Right now, I am playing at the highest gold I league tier with a trophy count of 3,360 and having more than a week in hand, I will try to reach 4,000 trophies this time. I am also earning a minimum of 2 or 3 foundation packs on a daily basis, which is undoubtedly boosting my card capture rate. Now, looking at the frontier raffle draw, in the last raffle, I managed to collect a total of 54 entries, but sadly, I didn't get anything from the raffle. This time, I have already gathered 33 entries and with the remaining time, I will try to push this number to around 55 again. But despite playing and entering in the past 15 raffle draws, I haven't won anything so far. But let’s keep playing and crossing fingers in hope for the best.
Moribund Arrowbait
Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be projecting the light upon the beast warrior named Moribund Arrowbait. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dice without any further ado.
The Moribund Arrowbait is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core edition card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the popular Ulund bloodline. By rarity, it is a legendary type card, so you would require a total of 11 CC cards to upgrade this beast to its max level. It costs only 4 mana to use this card in battles, so you can easily choose this monster when playing low to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with the Little League ruleset. This is one of the rare monsters that holds dual attack type ranged and magic and apart from that, it also features a decent combo of armour and health at good speed, along with 3 useful abilities, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.
BRONZE
At level 1, this monster card possesses tiny stats of 1 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 1 speed with 1 armour and 1 health. Apart from that, it also gets a special and powerful ability called Bloodline Tribute since its initial level, which will help you to strengthen your other friendly monsters who have the same bloodlines when it dies.
BLOODLINE TRIBUTE - When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed and armour and +1 power to each shared attack type.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, it receives an increased stat of 1 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 2 speed with 2 armour and 2 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Relentless Strike, one of the coolest abilities in the conclave Arcana series cards.
RELENTLESS STRIKE - Attacks deal true damage, +1 damage if the target has void, shield or forcefield.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded and reaches level 3, it gets 2 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 2 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at the gold league level, its increased ranged attack, speed and armour will definitely help you to win more battles in the arena.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this beast to its max level of 4, it possesses the same stats as its previous level - 2 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 2 health. Apart from that, it also receives a brand new ability at its max level called Rebirth, which will allow this monster to self-resurrect once per battle.
REBIRTH - Self-resurrects once per battle with 1 health and 100% armour. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are applied. Skips turn.
Last but not least, the first thing that I liked about this monster is its dual attack power, and coupling it with the Bloodline Tribute ability, all your same bloodline monster that possesses ranged or magic attack will gain more attack power and other stats when this monster dies. On top of that, the relentless strike will also help you to send more damage to enemy monsters with void, shield and force field. Hence, I think this monster is a very important one to keep in your collection. What do you think?

I played when it first came out, but to be honest, the rewards in the early ranks didn't really grab me, so due to lack of time, I usually stay at full energy.
Hey! This card has a really interesting ability that can make all the difference in Brawls tournaments, and even though my budget only allows me to have it at level 1, it's still a fantastic card! Cheers.

I often see this in tank position with fellow Ulunds. Seems to be a strategy in the Life splinter with the Ulund archon.
