Splinterlands | SILVERLEAF RANGER carries immense firepower but with a catch

I hope you all are doing well in life and enjoying a wonderful day with your family and friends while eagerly waiting for the weekend. But for those of you who play this amazing strategy game, it seems many of you may stay occupied during this weekend with this game. Because looking at the ranked season timer, we only have around 6 days and 20 hours of time left before this season meets its end. So, whatever goals you have set for yourself in this ongoing ranked season, whether it is to climb that trophy ladder and reach a certain league tier or to compete against the top players for a seat among the champion top leaderboard positions, there’s not much time left my friend snd it is wise to push and shove as fast as possible and reach your destination, if you want to avoid the season end bloodbath, which is not far away from here. Anyway, I wish you all the best and hope you reach your goal within time and get rewarded with shiny cards and lots of glint tokens.

On the other hand, it's time to look into the Frontier mode and as I have shared in my previous posts, I am totally into this newest game mode and playing actively for a while. For those who haven't heard about it yet, the Frontier mode is the newest mode added to splinterlands and the best thing about this mode is that this mode is completely free to play and doesn't require you to own or rent any cards or SPS to start playing this mode. Anyways, right now I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier in this mode with a trophy count of 3,320 and earning a foundation pack and 3 frontier raffle entries per mission. So far, I have collected a total of 45 entries for the upcoming frontier raffle, which is about to take place in around 2 days. Now, for today’s daily quest, I have successfully completed all 3 missions and received 3 foundation packs and 9 raffle entries as rewards. But, due to heavy playing today, I have depleted my battle energy mana to 3 only. So, let it just rest until next next day and I hope I get enough energy to play and complete at 2 missions tomorrow.

Silverleaf Ranger

Now, let us move forward to the main topic of this post, as today, I am going to showcase another awesome Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Silverleaf Ranger. So, if you are interested in knowing more about it, let us take a deep dive without any further ado.

The Silverleaf Ranger is a monster type card that was first launched into the game with the introduction of the newest conclave Arcana core edition card set. This monster card belongs to the Life element and comes from the Elf bloodline. It costs 6 mana to be used in battles, so it is ideal to use this monster when playing medium to large mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you would need a total of 115 CC of cards to upgrade this monster to its max level. The attack type of this monster is ranged and apart from a high attack power, a good combo of health and armour and good speed, this monster also features 4 amazing, useful abilities, which I am about to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look at this card’s league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster card possesses noticeable stats of 3 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 2 armour and 4 speed. Apart from that, it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level - Weary and Double Strike. Thou it becomes too powerful even at this level with 3 ranged attacks and double strike, but it comes with a catch called weary, which has a chance to apply exhaust on it.

WEARY - At the beginning of round 1, Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot retaliate.

DOUBLE STRIKE - Attacks twice each turn.

SILVER

When this monster gets upgraded further to level 4, it receives a little increment in its speed and possesses 3 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 2 armour and 4 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Heal, which will definitely change the game.

HEAL - Each round, restores 1/3 of max health (rounded down).

GOLD

When you upgrade this monster to level 6, its stats get a serious enhancement, as it now gets 4 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 2 armour and 5 health, along with those 3 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased firepower, coupled with dual attack, can bring mayhem onto enemy monsters, if it is not exhausted, of course.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this monster gets upgraded to its max level of 8, it receives further increased stats that consist of 4 ranged attack power at 4 speed with 3 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but gladly, it also gets a new ability at its max level called Echo.

ECHO - Active abilities (Repair and all healing and cleansing abilities) trigger twice per round.

Last but not least, for a 6 mana cost monster, I think this monster is very carefully crafted in such a way that on one hand it has given immense firepower and Double Strike, but on the other hand, it also carries a negative ability, Weary, which actually balances it out. The other beast thing is the ability combo of heal and echo, where the echo will trigger the healing ability twice per round if it's active. So, if you master when and how to use this monster, it will surely bring you more and easier wins. Thus, I think this monster deserves a place in your monster arsenal. What do you think?
