Splinterlands Update - Yaba's Pickel claim (ENG/GER)

Hello dear Splinterlands community,
The time has finally come: the SPS snapshot has been taken and Yaba's Pickle can be claimed.
We've had the opportunity to stake SPS for quite some time, and since Tuesday, you can claim one Yaba's Pickle for every 1,000 SPS. Find out how I'm handling this and what other news there is in today's Splinterlands update.

Yaba's Pimple

Let's start today with one of the two main new features of the game. I didn't stake any new SPS for the new card Yaba's Pimple. The reason for this is that my card set is currently only enough to play in Gold 1 or Diamond 3. Here, I get between 6 and 8 SPS per win for my 33,000 staked SPS.

Even if I staked another 10,000 SPS, the value would hardly increase as long as I don't improve my deck to play in a higher league.

But of course, it was clear to me from the start that I would claim all the pimples.

I must also mention at this point that I absolutely love the way the new card is being introduced into the game. For the first time in a long time, there is no completely overpriced price that excludes small players.

I hope that this concept will be used every 6 months to introduce a promo card into the game. This would further motivate players to stake SPS and also generate additional revenue for Splinterlands.

I could imagine the following distribution:

• 1,000 SPS for a common card
• 2,500 SPS for a rare card
• 5,000 SPS for an epic card
• 10,000 SPS for a legendary card

Analogous to the required SPS that must be staked at the snapshot, I would increase the DEC costs when claiming. This would make a Legendary card cost 1,500 DEC. Of course, these would not be the most valuable cards in the game, but it would significantly increase the fun of DEC staking and hopefully also support the SPS value. @yabapmatt, maybe this is an idea for you?

But enough brainstorming, let's get back to my claim. :)

I was lucky that one of my 33 cards was a GF card. :)

Initially, I had planned to sell the GF card immediately after drawing it in order to buy more cards for leveling up. However, I'm not satisfied with the current price of $1.60, so I'll keep an eye on the market for a while. Until then, I'll rent out the GF card.

To get Yaba's Pickle to the desired level of 5, I traded a little Hive in DEC and bought the remaining cards on the secondary market. I also offered my normal card for rent, as the prices for the card seem relatively high. I'm curious to see if my GF and my normal card will actually be rented.

My best brawl so far

Even though I've been playing Splinterlands for 3 years, I've never managed to achieve an 8:0 win ratio in a brawl for my guild. The new cards, which I introduced in the last post, have already proven their worth and given me a decent push in the game.

I am therefore extremely excited to see how the next brawls will go and whether I will manage to slowly work my way up to Dia 2 after all.

endlich ist es soweit und der SPS Snapshot wurde getätigt und Yaba's Pickel kann geclaimed werden.
Wir hatten für längere Zeit die Möglichkeit SPS zu staken und für je 1.000 SPS kann man seit Dienstag einen Yaba' Pickel claimen. Wie ich mich hier verhalte und was es sonst für Neuigkeiten gibt erfahrt Ihr im heutigen Splinterlands Update.

Yaba's Pickel

Lass uns heute direkt mit einer der beiden Hauptneuerungen des Spiels starten. Ich habe für die neue Karte Yaba's Pickel keine neuen SPS gestaked. Hintergrund ist, dass mein Kartenset aktuell nur dafür reicht, dass in Gold 1 oder Dia 3 zu spielen. Hier erhalte ich mir meinen 33.000 staked SPS zwischen 6 und 8 SPS je Sieg.

Auch wenn ich nochmal 10.000 SPS staked würde, würde sich der Wert kaum erhöhen, solange ich mein Deck nicht verbessere um in einer höheren Liga zu spielen.

Aber natürlich war für mich von Anfang an klar, dass ich alle Pickel auch claimen werde.

Ich muss an dieser Stelle auch absolut lobend erwähnen, dass ich die Art wie die neue Karte ins Spiel gebracht wird absolut super ist. Zum ersten Mal seit langem gibt es keinen völlig überteuerten Preis, welcher kleine Spieler ausschließt.

Ich hoffe, dass dieses Konzept alle 6 Monate genutzt wird um eine Promo Karte ins Spiel zu bringen. Das würde Spieler zusätzlich motivieren SPS zu staken und es sorgt zusätzlich für weitere Einnahmen bei Splinterlands.

Ich könnte mir folgende Aufteilung vorstellen:

• 1.000 SPS für eine Common Karte
• 2.500 SPS für eine Rare Karte
• 5.000 SPS für eine Epic Karte
• 10.000 SPS für eine Legndary Karte

Analog der benötigten SPS die man beim Snapshot staken muss, würde ich die DEC Kosten beim claimen erhöhen. Damit würde eine Legendary Karte 1.500 DEC kosten. Natürlich wären, dass dann nicht die wertvollsten Karten im Spiel, aber es würde den Spaß beim DEC staken deutlich erhöhen und hoffentlich auch den SPS Wert stützen. @yabapmatt vielleicht ist das eine Idee für Euch?

Aber genug der brain stormings lasst uns zurück zu meinem Claim kommen. :)

Ich hatte das Glück, dass von meinen 33 Karte eine GF Karte dabei war. :)

Anfangs hatte ich geplant, dass wenn ich eine GF Karte ziehe ich diese direkt verkaufen werde um mehr Karten zum leveln zu kaufen. Allerdings sagt mir der aktuell Preis 1,6 $ noch nicht zu und ich werde den Markt noch etwas beobachten. Bis dahin werde ich die GF Karte erst einmal vermieten.

Um Yaba's Pickle auf das gewünschte Level von 5 zu bringen, habe ich ein wenig Hive in DEC getauscht und mir die restlichen Karten auf dem zweit Markt gekauft. Auch meine normale Karte habe ich erstmal zur Vermietung angeboten, da die Preise für die Karte relativ hoch erscheinen. Ich bin gespannt, ob meine GF und meine normale Karte wirklich gemietet werden.

Mein bester Brawl bisher

Auch wenn ich seit 3 Jahren bereits Splinterlands spiele habe ich es noch nie geschafft in einem Brawl für meine Gilde ein 8:0 Siegverhältnis zu erzielen. Die neuen Karten, welche im letzten Beitrag vorgestellt habe, haben Ihren Wert bereits jetzt bewiesen und mir einen ordentlich Push im Spiel gegeben.

Ich bin daher extrem gespannt, wie die nächsten Brawls verlaufen werden und ob ich es nicht doch schaffe, mich langsam in die Dia 2 hochzuarbeiten.
