Battle of the Day #18

This is a ranked Diamond match. The game has the following rule sets: Keep Your Distance, Aimless, and Born Again. I went with Akane as my summoner. With the Born Again, I decided to use 3 monsters that are good in it: Kra'ar Xoc, Noa the Just, and Doctor Blight. With 2 non-attackers, Rage was a no-brainer. With 15 mana left, I opted for Chaos Agent in the front and Chaos Dragon. They opted for Jacek and also placed Chaos Agent in the first position. They followed it up with Immolation, Rush Townsend, Countess Sinash, Supply Runner, and Doctor Blight.

I gave Ambush to Rage and Chaos Dragon. Their Ambush hit my Chaos Dragon but Rage hit Countess, killing it for the first time. Unfortunately, Chaos Dragon didn't hit her or next to her and didn't get any kills. Their speed advantage was big and they took out my Xoc but that triggered the Redemption, which took out Countess for good. Rage took out Rush Townsend's first life but the rest of my monsters were not able to get more kills. Supply Runner attacked Noa and missed, losing its first life in the process. Their Immolation got my Chaos Agent but I was ok with that. Rage took out Doctor Blight for the first time and Xoc killed Townsend for good. Chaos Dragon had a great hit, getting rid of Doctor and Supply Runner. They only had 2 monsters left (and one couldn't attack), while I had all of them. But I still could get a lot of misses of Chaos Agent so I wasn't 100% sure about the win. I killed Agent for the first time but I had several misses until I got it in the next round and the game was truly over. Immolation still got the second life out of my Agent but there was nothing else it could do.
