On the copyright thing, very simplistically, if part of the terms of the contest entry was handing over copyright of the entries to the contest organisers, then you would be breaching a copyright, if they don't have anything like that then you're probably fine. Suggest talking to an actual lawyer/legal aide if concerned :)
