Fab Four - Weekly Challenge!

Using Fab Four ruleset to win a Diamond level BRAWL battle!

We have three rulesets in effect: Shades of Gray, Stampede and Fab Four:

The Strategy

My strategy here was centered around Tatiana Blayde. Since this is a Brawl battle Gladiator cards are available with regular summoners so I chose a very complimentary summoner for the Tatiana Blayde: Possibilus the Wise. Possibilus the Wise gives all units two extra health, trample ability and most importantly for Tatiana a reach ability that enables her to strike with melee from the second position.

Due to mana limitations I chose a small mana tank Xenith Monk for my tank. Additional support is provided by Doctor Blight which is one of the best support monsters and finally the last but not least I chose Uraeus and my fourth monster.

The strategy here is for Tatiana to get a kill and become an absolute monster with here two types of attack enhanced by the bloddlust ability.

The Summoner

Possibilus the Wise is a legendary airdrop summoner from the Chaos Legion set. This is a great summoner to use with melee monsters, he enables putting some really strong monsters into the second position and it is particularly good in this ruleset as I was able to use Tatiana Blayde in the second position where she can strike with ranged attack of two as well as her melee attack of three.

1st Slot - Tank Monster

Xenith monk is a great low mana tank. It comes with important heal, void and magic reflect abilities. For only four mana it also has a base speed of four, eight health and two melee damage.

2nd Slot - Secondary Meat Shield Monster

Tatiana Blayde is a legendary gladiator card. While I have her at level one only despite playing in Brawls from day one it is still very useful. At level one she comes with two ranged damage and tree melee damage. Her base speed of five and five health are pretty good to start. He main draw is here Bloodlust and Close Range abilities. In the second position she should survive long enough to score a kill and become an absolute monster on the battlefield.

3rd Slot - Sneak Poison Monster

Uraeus is an epic rarity monster that comes to us from the Chaos Legion Rewards set. While the set was really overprinted and price of this monster is really low, still this is an awesome monster that I use all the time. This monster comes with a base speed of four, three melee damage, one shield and four health with sneak and poison abilities all for only three mana.

4th Slot - Support Monster

Doctor Blight is one of the most important support monsters in the game. In this ruleset combination it is a must use monster. I place it in the last position so that it can survive until the end of the battle and keep poisoning and weakening and afflicting the opposing team and scavenging health until the end.

THE BATTLE

We open with a double strike from Tatiana Blayde:

In the first round we were less lucky than our opponent with our Uraeus completely missing his shot while our opponent's Uraeus hit his show and landed poison. Still a good round for us as we took out their tank.

Second round was great for us as Tatiana scored a kill and we managed to poison their last standing monster which makes it clear this is a win!

And just like that in only two rounds we win :)
