In this post, I shared a battle where I almost lost to a Chaos Dragon that hadn't reached max level yet.
Battle
The ruleset for this battle is BORN AGAIN 
(All units receive additional REBIRTH 
ability), EQUAL OPPORTUNITY 
(All units receive additional OPPORTUNITY 
ability), and TAKING SIDES 
(Neutral units cannot be used in this ruleset).
Because I was in the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ruleset, I used the method I explained in the previous post, which involved relying on a combination of TAUNT 
and LOOKOUT 
units. Unfortunately, my opponent brought Chaos Dragon, which could easily ignore my strategy.
The SCATTERSHOT 
and BLAST 
abilities of Chaos Dragon were already a threat to my strategy, but my suffering was compounded by Akane (opponent's Summoner) who gave one of his AMBUSH 
abilities to Chaos Dragon so that he could attack on round 0 (bonus round).
In the bonus round, Kei and Djinn Biljka* attacked Agor Longtail. Agor Longtail's melee attack is reduced due to the effect of Kei's ENFEEBLE 
. Meanwhile, Chaos Dragon targeted its attack at Runeseer Sevaya. The effect of the BLAST defeated Fungus Fiend (but he revived thanks to the REBIRTH ability), while Oshuur Constantia survived because he had the REFLECTION SHIELD 
ability.
In the first round, Satha Toledo and Oshuur Constantia defeated the opponent's Fungus Fiend. And despite reviving, my Fungus Fiend defeated my opponent's Fungus Fiend again. Runeseer Sevaya removes debuffs and repairs Agor Longtail's ARMOR.
Pelacor Mercenary and Agor Longtail* attacked each other. Kei failed to land her attack on Agor Longtail while Djinn Biljka managed to partially damage his ARMOR. Chaos Dragon defeated Satha Toledo this time and the effect of BLAST partially damaged Agor Longtail's ARMOR (while Oshuur Constantia was not affected).
In the second round, Satha Toledo attacked Kei. Meanwhile, my other units (Agor Longtail, Oshuur Constantia, and Fungus Fiend) attacked Pelacor Mercenary. Runeseer Sevaya repairs Agor Longtail's ARMOR*.
After healing himself, Pelacor Mercenary and Djinn Biljka attacked Agor Longtail. Kei still couldn't hit him. Meanwhile, Chaos Dragon defeated Satha Toledo again (this time he was revived by Oshuur Constantia using RESURRECT 
ability)
In the third round, Pelacor Mercenary was defeated twice in a row. The first defeat was by Satha Toledo and Agor Longtail, while the second was due to an attack from Oshuur Constantia.
Chaos Dragon targeted its attack and defeated Runeseer Sevaya and Fungus Fiend also lost due to the BLAST effect. previously, Fungus Fiend attacked Kei while ***Runeseer Sevaya repaired Agor Longtail's ARMOR. Kei still failed while Djinn Biljka was able to hurt Agor Longtail.
In the fourth round, Satha Toledo and Agor Longtail defeated Kei for the first time. Runeseer Sevaya briefly repaired Agor Longtail's ARMOR before being defeated via BLAST by Chaos Dragon who attacked Oshuur Constantia (who also defeated Satha Toledo).
Kei was defeated again by Oshuur Constantia. Meanwhile, Djinn Biljka damaged Agor Longtail's ARMOR again.
In the fifth round, Agor Longtail and Oshuur Constantia attacked Chaos Dragon while Chaos Dragon and Djinn Biljka attacked Agor Longtail. Thanks to the REFLECTION SHIELD ability, Oshuur Constantia avoids additional damage from the BLAST ability.
Chaos Dragon lost in the seventh round, while Djinn Biljka lost in the round after that.
Battle Review
I was almost defeated by an opponent who only used a level 3 Legendary Summoner. That happened thanks to the combination of Chaos Dragon's SCATTERSHOT and BLAST and the additional AMBUSH ability from Akane that was also given to him. This gave Chaos Dragon the advantage of being able to attack first before the main round started.
In addition, the HP of almost all of my units is low enough that Chaos Dragon can easily defeat them in just 1 to 2 attacks (accompanied by damage from BLAST ability).
Luckily, there was only 1 deadly unit on the opposing side. Although 2 other units had the AMBUSH ability, their attacks were directed at Agor Longtail using the TAUNT ability and the LOOKOUT ability of Satha Toledo reduced the damage taken by Agor Longtail.
