Actual, dynamic in-game interaction in Splinterlands (2024.01.25)

Today I tried playing Splinterlands again after many months of pause. I see that there are many new summoners and units. The biggest surprise for me is that there is actual, dynamic interaction in the game. At least some of the new summoners have dynamic abilities.

The last time I played Splinterlands, the game was static and fixed. We selected our summoner and our units, and then the result of the battle was decided immediately.

Now there is something more. There is a tactic stage. At least with some of the new summoners. For example Avina of The Wolf have two abilities. Either give +2 speed to two units, or give heal to one unit. We select one of the abilities, and then we select the unit(s).

I have not checked other new summoners, but based on Avina of the Wolf, I like this update.

I will certainly play Splinterlands in the next few days to see and experiment with the abilities of the new summoners and of the new units. Currently I am in the Bronze III League. I played nine battles in this season so far. I win six battles so far. Currently my win rate in this season is 66.66%. Currently my rank is 49 790. So currently I am in the top 50 000 players.

I started playing Steem Monsters/Splinterlands on 2018.12.30.
