People say that improvised things sometimes turn out better and I consider that this trip to "Balneario los Dos Rios" was no exception.

Qué excelente manera que inicar las primeras semanas del año 2023, con un viaje relativamente corto en motocicleta, al lado de personas geniales; pudiendo sentir la brisa contra velocidad que nos hace sentir tan vivos, y admirando paisajes maravillosos llenos de mucho verde.
What an excellent way to start the first weeks of 2023, with a relatively short motorcycle trip, next to great people; being able to feel the breeze against speed that makes us feel so alive, and admiring wonderful landscapes full of lots of green.
En estas primeras imagenes nos encontrabamos esperando que el resto de los compañeros se unieran para poder irnos hacia nuestro destino. Confirmaron que irían 7 personas con sus respectivas motos estilo "Chopper". Cabe destacar, que fui la única mujer que asistió y estuve de "copiloto", porque lamentablemente aún no tengo mi propia motocicleta.
In these first images we were waiting for the rest of the companions to join so we could go to our destination. They confirmed that 7 people would go with their respective "Chopper" style motorcycles. It should be noted that I was the only woman who attended and I was "co-pilot", because unfortunately I still do not have my own motorcycle.
En la siguiente fotografía ya estabamos listos para salir al ruedo; todos ibamos con nuestros respectivos cascos de protección y lentes; porque como es lo usual en la ciudad de Cumaná, Estado Sucre, el sol cada mañana suele sonreirnos y los domingos acostumbran ser bastante soleados. Por lo tanto, no nos quedó de otra que ir a refrescarnos a un lugar tan especial como lo es el Balneario los Dos Rios.
In the next picture we were ready to go out; we all went with our respective protective helmets and glasses; Because as usual in the city of Cumaná, Sucre State, the sun smiles at us every morning and Sundays are usually quite sunny. Therefore, we had no choice but to go to refresh ourselves in such a special place as the "Balneario los Dos Rios".
La verdad es que es un verdadero reto tomar buenas fotos cuando vas a una velocidad rápida en la via, aun siendo "copiloto" es riesgoso y se debe tener cuidado. Quise intentar capturar algunas imagenes al ruedo para el recuerdo pero no se veían de buena calidad, de igual modo quise compartir al menos una. Grabé algunos videos, porque me encantaron las hermosas vistas, todos esos paisajes imponentes llenos de vida, que con tan solo mirarlos podemos sentir que nos acarician, nos transmiten serenidad, y la dicha de estar vivos.
The truth is that it is a real challenge to take good pictures when you go at a fast speed on the road, even being a "copilot" it is risky and you have to be careful. I wanted to try to capture some pictures of the road for the memory but they were not of good quality, but I still wanted to share at least one. I recorded some videos because I loved the beautiful views, all those breathtaking landscapes full of life, that just by looking at them we can feel that they embrace us and transmit us serenity; the joy of being alive.

Bueno, luego de alrededor de una hora de viaje (debido a que hicimos una que otra parada), por fin llegamos a nuestro pequeño paraíso. Así se observa la entrada, adornada con una variedad de árboles que nos hacen alucinar con su majestuosidad y viveza, los cuales nos dan sombra y aportan gran frescura.

Por cierto, otra cosa que me encantó fue que había seguridad, justo al frente del balneario como pueden notar, hay un punto de control policial permanente; lo cual garantiza una estancia más tranquila y segura.

No quise perder la oportunidad de tomar estás lindas imagenes estando más cerca y enfocadas, que se pudiera apreciar el diseño que realizaron la identificar el balneario. De igual modo, pedí que me tomaran una foto para el baúl de los recuerdos, no podía estar más feliz. Todos mis compañeros había visitado anteriomente el lugar, sin embargo, esta era mi primera vez.
I didn't want to miss the opportunity to take these beautiful images being closer and more focused, so that the design they made to identify the balneario could be appreciated. In the same way, I asked for a photo to be taken for the trunk of memories, I couldn't be happier. All my companions had previously visited the place, but this was my first time.
En este punto ya estabamos oficialmente en nuestro destino, estacionados y admirando el lugar. Entre los comentarios que escuché de mis compañeros de viaje, fue que el balneario no era el mismo de antes, o por lo menos que el rio no era la sombra de lo que solía ser, debido a que las pozas anteriormene solían estar muy llenas y era mas agragable a la hora de bañarse y pasarla bien dentro del rio. Sin embargo, tambien era un medida mantenerlo así porque en la temporada de lluvias se solia desbordar causando estragos por las adyacencias.
At this point we were officially at our destination, parked and admiring the place. Among the comments that I heard from my fellow travelers, was that the place was not the same as before, or at least that the river was not the shadow of what it used to be, because the pools used to be very abundant and It was more pleasant when bathing and having a good time in the river.
Esta foto me encantó, está impregnada de muchos matices y las hojas de los arboles brindan ese contraste maravilloso. La pasarela nos permite poder pasar al otro extremo donde en se observa que existe un ambiente agradable para poder cocinar, hacer las parrillas o los sancochos cómodamente y a una distancia prudente del río. Un poco más atrás están algunas cabañas que fueron diseñadas para que los visitantes en temporadas altas si deseaban quedarse podian alquilarlas y pasar un fin de semana completo o los días que desearan.
I loved this photo, it is impregnated with many shades and the leaves of the trees provide that wonderful contrast. The walkway allows us to pass to the other end where there is a pleasant environment to cook, grill or cook stews comfortably and at a safe distance from the river. A little further back are some cabins that were designed so that visitors in high season if they wanted to stay could rent them and spend a whole weekend or as many days as they wished.
Sol, agua que fluye, el sonido burbujeante del rio; terapia natural que renueva a cualquiera, que alinea los chakras y nos llena de esperanza, como quien dice. Es una lástima que yo estaba en mías días de bandera roja y no pude relajarme entre los brazos del rio, pero me conformé con la terapia de observar y conectar con la naturaleza. En esta foto el modelo es mi piloto favorito.
Sun, flowing water, the bubbling sound of the river; natural therapy that renews anyone, aligns the chakras and fills us with hope. Sí, eso que pueden observar en la próxima foto es un trampolín. Lo que nos confirma que efectivamente antes se podía disfrutar de una buena poza para lanzarnos desde arriba en ese trampolin tan genial que no lo poseen todos los balnearios o rios. Lamentablemente no se le pudo dar el uso que corresponde, pero los muchachos estaban muy contentos con el baño de rio y con eso se sintieron más que felices.
Yes, what you can see in the next photo is a springboard. Which confirms that before you could actually enjoy a good pool to jump from above on that great springboard that not all spas or rivers have. Unfortunately, it could not be put to its proper use, but the boys were very happy with the river bath and with that they felt more than happy.
Otra cosa que me gustó aparte de la seguridad, es que el lugar contaba con sus respectivos baños abiertos de damas y caballeros, totalmente gratuitos. De esa forma las personas podían ir a cambiarse tranquilos luego de salir del río, o hacer sus necesidades básicas sin estar encondiendose por un ricón.
Another thing that I liked, apart from security, is that the place had its respective open bathrooms for men and women, totally free. That way people could go change their clothes calmly after leaving the river, or do their basic needs without hiding in a corner.
Estas fotografías fueron las últimas que tomé dentro del balneario los dos rios, ya estabamos por irnos pero yo cotinuaba embelesada con tantos árboles y tanto verde vivo a mi alrededor; hacia donde mirara la naturaleza me saludaba y hasta me abrazaba con su espíritu de armonía y calidez. Definitivamente un lugar al cual me gustaría volver a visitar, quizás con más logistica y en un momento que pueda bañarme y disfrutar el rio sin limitaciones.
These photographs were the last ones I took inside the "Balneario los 2 rios", we were about to leave but I was still enraptured with so many trees and so much bright green around me; Wherever I looked, nature greeted me and even embraced me with its spirit of harmony and warmth. Definitely a place to which I would like to return, perhaps with more logistics and at a time when I can bathe and enjoy the river without limitations.
Ya todos activos en nuestro retorno a la ciudad de Cumaná. Regresamos renovados, más contentos y llenos de buenas vibras para continuar el resto del año con la mejor actitud. Esperemos que pronto salgan nuevos e interesantes destinos por recorrer y admirar.
We were all active on our return to the city of Cumaná. We return refreshed, happier and full of good vibes to continue the rest of the year with the best attitude. Let's hope that new and interesting destinations will come out soon to visit and admire.
