Un gusto saludarlos una vez más.

Quiero contarles sobre un tema de la vida cotidiana, que estamos dispuestos a dar en nuestro día a día, bien sea en nuestro hogar, en el trabajo o en cualquier otro lugar. Eres de los que les gusta hacer las cosas bien o muy bien, esperas de los demás un buen trato o un excelente trato. Son preguntas importantes para mi, ¡tal vez las respuestas sean la clave del éxito!

I want to tell you about a topic of everyday life, which we are willing to give in our day to day, either in our home, at work or anywhere else. Are you one of those who like to do things well or very well, do you expect from others a good treatment or an excellent treatment. These are important questions for me, maybe the answers are the key to success!

Que agradable es cuando vas a una tienda y el vendedor te atiende te asesora en lo que buscas, pero siempre es posible agregar un valor extra a lo que haces. Una vez tuve una experiencia cuando trabajaba en Quito, una señora llega buscando un pantalón jeans para su nieta, tenía temor de escoger la talla incorrecta, no estaba segura de las medidas de su nieta, la señora me dice que su nieta era de mi contextura, pero no sabia exactamente si le quedaba, quería hacerle un regalo de cumpleaños. Al instante le dije, si quiere con mucho gusto me lo pongo y usted decide, a los que me contesto con mucha gracia, "mijita" se lo agradecería en el alma. Fui al mostrador y me lo coloqué, me quedó bien. La señora feliz me dijo, me lo llevo, gracias por su gentileza y disculpe la molestia. La señora terminó comprando tres prendas más, se fue satisfecha y con ánimos de regresar. Esto me llenó de placer laboral y personal, sentí que generé un valor agregado a la atención que le de la señora.

Hoy por ejemplo, asistí a una de las terapias post operatorias, me atendió una chica que antes no había visto. Su atención fue muy diferente a la que recibí anteriormente. Ella se esmeró en su atención, fue muy atenta, diligente y profesional. La masajista me dio un masaje linfático y como estaba un poco adolorida también lo hizo en mi espalda. Salí renovada, sin tanto dolor,
feliz por su atención con esmero, hizo ese extra que hace la diferencia en los empleados.

Estoy convencida que los gestos que tenemos diariamente con los demás pueden causar un impacto, depende de nosotros que sea positivo o negativo. Con un simple gesto puedes cambiar el ánimo o el día de una persona. Hace unas semanas iba manejando, cargaba en el carro dos empanadas, un caramelo y un jugo, justo me detengo en un semáforo y en eso vi a un chico como de 30 años en silla de ruedas vendiendo chupetas en el semáforo. Quería colaborar pero no disponía de efectivo, se me ocurrió fue regalarle mi desayuno y le dije, mi amor no tengo efectivo en cambio te doy mi desayuno, agarré el caramelo le di un beso y luego se lo entregue en sus manos, él sonrió y me dijo gracias, no tanto por el desayuno, sino por el beso. Les confieso que el beso fue inconscientemente, no se porque lo hice. Otra cosa, ese día la pase muy bien, estoy segura que el chico también paso un día alegre.

How nice it is when you go to a store and the salesperson assists you and advises you on what you are looking for, but it is always possible to add an extra value to what you do. Once I had an experience when I worked in Quito, a lady arrived looking for a pair of jeans for her granddaughter, she was afraid of choosing the wrong size, she was not sure of the measurements of her granddaughter, the lady told me that her granddaughter was of my build, but she did not know exactly if it fit her, she wanted to give her a birthday present. I instantly told her, if you want, I would be happy to wear it and you decide, to which she answered me with a lot of grace, "mijita" I would thank you in my soul. I went to the counter and put it on, it fit me well. The happy lady told me, I'll take it, thank you for your kindness and sorry for the inconvenience. The lady ended up buying three more garments, she left satisfied and eager to return. This filled me with work and personal pleasure, I felt that I generated an added value to the attention that the lady gave me.

Today, for example, I attended one of the post-operative therapies, I was attended by a girl I had not seen before. Her attention was very different from what I received before. She was very attentive, diligent and professional. The masseuse gave me a lymphatic massage and as I was a little sore she also did it on my back. I left refreshed, without so much pain,
I was happy for her careful attention, she did that extra that makes the difference in the employees.

I am convinced that the gestures we have daily with others can make an impact, it is up to us whether it is positive or negative. With a simple gesture you can change a person's mood or day. A few weeks ago I was driving, I was carrying in the car two empanadas, a candy and a juice, I just stopped at a traffic light and at that moment I saw a guy about 30 years old in a wheelchair selling lollipops at the traffic light. I wanted to collaborate but I did not have cash, I thought of giving him my breakfast and I told him, my love I do not have cash instead I give you my breakfast, I took the candy I gave him a kiss and then I gave it to him in his hands, he smiled and told me thank you, not so much for the breakfast, but for the kiss. I confess that the kiss was unconsciously, I don't know why I did it. Another thing, that day I had a great time, I am sure that the boy also had a happy day.

Cuanto impacto puede causar un gesto negativo o positivo a nuestro alrededor. No somos perfectos, pero si a diario nos levantáramos con la intención de hacer las cosas bien y dar ese esfuerzo extra, impactaremos a nuestras familias, a nuestros amigos, a nuestros compañeros de trabajo, a los desconocidos, a los clientes y al mundo.

Demos más cada día, sin miedo, no tengamos miedo de ser mejores, no tengamos miedo a dar más de lo que recibimos, no tengamos miedo a que nuestras obras estén impregnadas de ese ingrediente fenomenal que se llama valor Agregado.

How much impact a negative or positive gesture can have on those around us. We are not perfect, but if every day we wake up with the intention to do things right and give that extra effort, we will impact our families, our friends, our co-workers, strangers, customers and the world.

Let's give more every day, without fear, let's not be afraid to be better, let's not be afraid to give more than we receive, let's not be afraid that our works are infused with that phenomenal ingredient called Added Value.
