RE: What comes first, the large votes or the engagement?

in Hive Statistics4 years ago

Thanks for editing this one, I might have missed it :/

The first paragraph sort of describes 'tipu' to me. I think that account rewards the 'best' curators, but the best in this case means those who can get in before the big votes - content mostly irrelevant, sadly.

I'll see quite often people mentioning how they started following others simply because of comments left here and there.

It's still the way to the people singing the same tune as you, at least some things haven't changed.

I think it would be solid marketing for the platform if success was celebrated ...

Absolutely, and in with the likely bad in the last list, there are a bunch of people working honestly to get something out of this.

I'll continue exposing the bad from time to time, but should probably swing back to trying to expose some good - Trying to think how the data can help me rustle something up today but I've had a few beers in the sunshine so might just stick to the comments this eve :)

Tipu is just a game most days. Honest curators acting as promoters in this sense at least puts my mind at ease when I see hundreds of people earning within five minutes. Of course the missing element now, again, is the lack of consumers. So many things here go well but there's always been a missing piece of the puzzle.

I won't be pointing out what I feel is bad any more. Screw that... LOL! That thing got so twisted out of shape. Did you read the "turning a negative into a positive" post I wrote? I slipped that one in on a Sunday when nobody was looking. A good read.
