Hive arte // Dibujando en cuadriculas: máquina de coser (Es/En)

Saludos queridos amigos creativos, un placer poder compartir con ustedes en este día, en especial por ser mi primera publicación en esta comunidad, con la cual me identifiqué al tropezar por así decirlo con un blog de la querida amiga @kattycrochet , al leer su blog me animé a compartir con ustedes.

Greetings dear creative friends, a pleasure to share with you on this day, especially for being my first publication in this community, with which I identified myself by stumbling so to speak with a blog of the dear friend @kattycrochet, reading her blog I was encouraged to share with you.

Desde niña veía a mi madre tejer hermosas prendas en crochet sin seguir ningún patrón, al igual mi abuela bordaba teniendo la figura en su mente, talentos que tristemente yo no heredé, yo tanto para tejer, coser o bordar debo tener un patrón.

Since I was a child I used to watch my mother knit beautiful crochet garments without following any pattern, just as my grandmother embroidered having the figure in her mind, talents that sadly I did not inherit, so much to knit, sew or embroider I must have a pattern.

La semana pasada comencé un taller de costura y me quiero confeccionar un bolso con retazos de telas y entre ellos quiero colocar algunas tramas con bordado en punto cruz, es por ello que he estado diseñando algunas imágenes alusivas a la costura.

Last week I started a sewing workshop and I want to make a bag with scraps of fabrics and between them I want to place some cross stitch embroidery, that's why I have been designing some images allusive to sewing.

Hoy mientras me disponía a coser una labor, hubo un corte eléctrico por lo que aproveché el tiempo para comenzar a dibujar y así no afanarme con el calor y la labor pendiente por coser, tome una de mis hojas recicladas las cuales aprovecho para realizar mis propias cuadriculas y comencé a dibujar la imagen central que tendrá mi bolso.

Today while I was about to sew a work, there was a power cut so I took advantage of the time to start drawing and so I didn't worry about the heat and the pending work to sew, I took one of my recycled sheets which I use to make my own grids and began to draw the central image that will have my bag.

Aunque me encanta realizar mis patrones les confieso no se muy buena para dibujar artísticamente, es por eso que dibujar en cuadriculas me parece tan interesante, pues cada cuadro me guía para el siguiente y a la vez me sirve para plasmar ya sea una puntada en crochet, macramé o bordado. Para este dibujo me inspiré en la maquina de coser que tenía mi abuela, como estaba muy viejita su pintura se había caído por lo que ella le había bordado unas flores y se las había pegado.

Although I love to make my patterns I confess I am not very good at drawing artistically, that's why drawing in grids seems so interesting to me, because each frame guides me to the next one and at the same time serves me to capture either a crochet stitch, macramé or embroidery. For this drawing I was inspired by the sewing machine that my grandmother had, as she was very old her paint had fallen off so she had embroidered some flowers on it and glued them on.

A medida que coloreaba cada cuadro recordaba ver a mi abuela llevando su máquina de un lado a otro, y luego darle vuelta a esa manilla con una habilidad que ninguno de sus hijos o nietos logramos dominar, son muchas las anécdotas que puedo recordar con aquella vieja máquina de la abuela.

As I colored each picture I remembered seeing my grandmother carrying her machine back and forth, and then turning that handle with a skill that none of her children or grandchildren ever mastered, there are many anecdotes I can recall with that old grandmother's machine.
